To clean any blade, cutter, etc., especially those with pitch, put it in your laundry tub and spray all sides with oven cleaner. Let it sit for half an hour and then rinse it off. Best solution I've ever found.
Brass brush! Good to know. Thanks 😊
Soak the green wood in some mineral spirits it will break down the sap. That what I use to clean the pitch off my saws. Or WD40 will work.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip Ted !
Thank you Kyle 😊, jordy mentioned in one of his videos that the burrs can be exposed to fire and then simply brush it of those stuck wooden dust .
Yes I do hit them lightly with a propane torch if they won’t come clean . Kind of a last resort . I didn’t mention it as you can weaken the metal if it’s heated to much
Thanks Kyle 😊
Thanks Kyle .
Hey appreciate the info, you do nice work brother 👍😁
Thank you
Could you make a video on how to block in carvings?
I have several how to chainsaw carve videos up . Is there something specific your looking for ?
I put my small burrs in hot water and the hot water dissolves' all built up material.
Thanks Kenneth!
