I use Farrow & Ball a lot. I'm currently doing a job with a paint cost in the region of £2000. It is very good quality if you know how to apply it (I brush all woodwork and use a medium pile roller on walls and ceilings). A lot of people don't like it as they try to apply it like diy paint from B&Q (other stores are available). The modern eggshell is excellent for floors (used to called floor paint). The estate emulsion has a finish that is not matched by any paint. Keep up the good work.
I'm just about to use f&b eggshell for the first time on previously painted oil based wood. Would a sand down and zinsser bullsye be ok to use before applying the eggshell
Hi Gerard I was wanting paint a display unit( its dark wood)in farrow and ball do you recommend I do it in eggshell do I use a brush or roller and what primer do you recommend. Thanks
Is there a reason why you didn't remove the door handle? You're clearly a professional but that puzzled me. I always remove all door furniture although I don't do as far as taking door of hinges.

Hi f&b estate eggshell is excellent on doors but use a quality primer before applying.
Is there any smell with this gloss ? i recently used Dulux Oil based gloss..poison!!
Hi farrow & ball gloss is very low odour you won’t have any issues with it.
its ok if your on time and the client has plent of money lol
