That HT ute has several HG parts, such as the bonnet, interior trim including the steering wheel. 186 produced 130bhp from the factory while 161 produced 114bhp. 202 was introduced on the HQ (although it did appear on the last of the HG commercials in late 71) Strangely enough, on HK, you could order synchro on first for the 3 speed as an option at extra cost.
I must add a correction. I was erroneously calling the Brumby engine E81 when it is of course EA81. And following the end of Holden made 6 cylinder engines, before the US sourced V6 , Holden put a Nissan straight 6 into a commodore to “fill the gap” . Arguably, the best 6 cylinder in a Holden.
