People in the comments crying about some light scratches. Most of us don't care about a couple of tiny marks you can only see with your nose up to the paint, it does it's job by getting rids of the worst of the serious damage, no one ever claimed it will make your car look like it just came out the showroom.
You should of washed the car beforehand. All that rubbing in circular motions will of added a lot of swirl marks in the paint if not worse. If you can't see them straight away it's because the T-cut is hiding them. You would of been better off using a proper rubbing compound like G3 and then a decent polish (after washing the area first).
But you DID polish it with all the dirt, sand or whatever there was under that cloth. Seriously, I know you wanted to get rid of that red paint and it worked, but you DID add a little (?) swirl marks on that panel you were working on.
Your video is just removing red paint not scratches, I've just bought this same product for my black car and the light scratches are still there, please someone show us it work.
Wd40 would have got that red paint off. Secondly leaving the cloth on the floor before use is a school boy error. Imagine the swirl marks/ even deep scratches you may put in the paintwork when you are trying to improve the look of it.
2 days ago reversed my car into a lamppost as I was about to start washing it, I've sanded the scuff added filler put a hefty amount of this black tCut now waiting for it to dry, imma wait about half hr before I buff it off to, I also scrapped a post a while back an used the paint pens it didn't look great but I decided to fix it today along with the scuff hopefuly it it comes out good if not I can always get the brand paint for it soon.
Ikr I’m 16 years old just got my car and I’m screaming for this guy to clean it first. I cleaned it yesterday and am applying it today, this was painful to watch
A lot of crazy car enthusiasts watching this video. Who cares if he didn't wash the car first, the car is cheap and this is just a quick fix. It's not a Lambo.
If you’re gonna go to the bother of T cutting it and even making a review video wouldn’t you at least wash it First? Doesn’t matter if it’s a banged up fiesta or a Bugatti you’re literally adding scratches to paint by not cleaning it when using something to remove scratches. Don’t defend this video
sorry Andrew, disagree. it has been washed many times since and the paint work looks perfect. Also the product does not suggest washing first like other similar ones do.
Dears can't right.your the only one that thinks that you dont need to wash yet MILLIONS say you do and all scratch remover T cut or other say wash before using unless you've just bought fake T cut
@@shanetravis2550 do you mean write? At the end of the day it was a ten year old company car worth a couple of grand as it had done over 250,000. Do you think I care? I have better things to do with my time. Also you are lying the bottle does not say to wash the car and there are not 'millions' of comments saying you have to. Only the sad people who find this kind of thing important on a beat up old Focus.
@@shanetravis2550 I have the same product in front of me and it definitely doesn't say anywhere on the tube to clean or wash the car first and it definitely is a genuine T-cut product; that's actually what I came online to double check. Most people say you should and that's fine, but if David is happy with the result he got then there's really no need to harass him about it.
That not a scatch ..that's a rub mark from another car or Wat ever it is...there's a diffrence between strach that's taken off paint. .and something that's rub on...2 different things...misleading vid
Remove scratch using TCut. Add more scratches by using cloth that's been lying on the ground.
That deserves a round of applause 👏🏼
Didnt even wash the car first either, just scrubbing the grit into the paint. nice.

😂😂
Hilarious

Did you not think cleaning the car first would be a good idea?
Jack Pepper No need with this stuff. I washed it after and it looks great.

Feelgoodie it honestly was fine.
Wow, he didn't even clean his car!
This is just paint transfer can come off easy? an for even easier use just use some nail polish remover?
I agree. wash it first. always.
Your video is just removing red paint not scratches, I've just bought this same product for my black car and the light scratches are still there, please someone show us it work.
Got the same if not the other side on my x350, glad it worked out OK I hope mine does too
How much is the cleaner etc
Who was using the family brain cell when you tried this?
When you buff it out are you using the same cloth?

Partially covered re do over a few days
probably would've got most of that off with a decent wash. all you did there was grind all that dirt into your cars paintwork
Where you in the Fugitive?
On the back of my Halfords T-Cut Black, it says apply sparingly, which is the exact opposite of liberally!
Tut tut.
stopped watching this when i seen the car had not even been washed first......do people even read instructions.
david maclean yes, do you read previous comments where I already commented on this topic? Lol.
In fairness instructions should be needed on a common sense topic
Wash it first
Do it on the whole panel
Let it dry then wipe it
Ikr I’m 16 years old just got my car and I’m screaming for this guy to clean it first. I cleaned it yesterday and am applying it today, this was painful to watch
Really should wash the panel before doing this mate
Just scratched my car. Ordered from ebay same stuff. Hope will be same result

Didn’t think of washing the car first no?
Is the result permanent or does it come back as before after washing?
Permanent
Dropping the cloth on the ground and then rubbing grit into the paint 🤌🏻
didnt work really for my scratch.
Does it remove the dent too?
u knob
That guy 😅

Common sense does though!
Next time that happen later use rubbing alcohol first . Then wax polish or buff
This is not for this. Its for light scratch marks and swirls.
Can it be applied on plastic bumper ?
I suggest not. Works better on metal parts.
Never use the TCUT in the sunlight
Warm soapy water and a sponge would do the job that wasn't even a scratch, just some red paint 🤦♂️
Yeah exactly I bought a tube £5 From Asda ' it's shit still see the scratch after 15 minutes of rubbing an buffing '
A great way to add more scratches to you car dont wash your car first there a reason it say in small print to wash your car first
No it didn't. Car was fine. Calm down dear!
