the plunger gets stuck when the gate closes and have to use screwdriver from inside to pop it open!!
Hello we got the digital Locke key and we don’t know how the handle got stuck in the bottom position instead of side ways
The 2835 is equipped with a built-in slip clutch lever handle to prevent damage in the event of an attempted forced entry. If the lever handle is pointing down, simply pull the lever back to desired position.
Hello, I ordered a single combination lock online and was sent a double combination lock... I understand that the product has a "passage mode" feature. For the double combination lock, are you able to set passage mode for just one side of the mechanism? Ultimately allowing free passage from one way, while still having to type in the code to enter through the other way. Your help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Yes you are able to set the passage function for just one side of a double combination lock. Both lock bodies operate individually so if you want to set passage on both sides, you need to enter your code, and then press the "Y" button on both sides of the lock. If you want it on just one side, you would only do it on that certain side.

But what are the other letters for? The X and the Z. I've downloaded and read every manual for these and nothing mentions the other letters. I"m trying to figure out how to temporarily disable code from working. So what are those letters for?
X and Z are additional letters that can be included in the lock code like 1Z2X
Frustrating and a bit flimsy. We have two of these on outside gates. They worked pretty well for a year or two. Now, the latch and plunger on both of them gets stuck in either the locked or unlocked position, rendering them useless. One gate blows open, as the latch is stuck inside the door, the other gate's latch is stuck in the strike in locked position and we cannot open it from either side.
On light use, single family residential use, these should be ok. This, like any lock does require alignment and gap between lock and strike to be correct. The same applies even to industrial duty keyless locks that use a dead latch. The strike plate must be properly aligned, and the gap between the surface of this plate and edge of the door should be 1/8" exactly.
Sounds like you're on the beach or near salt water. The salt air will corrode the mechanism if it isn't regularly lubricated. Our beach gates are lubricated twice a year with Clenzoil brand lub that dries and protects. Don't use WD40 on the beach.
