/ klausferdinandhempflin... With his professional background in communications Klaus has shaken up the international horse world. He is working with these powerful, dignified creatures in accordance with nature. The development of the rider's "presence" and an orientation to holistic principles is integral to this work.
Klaus has the ability to "know" a horse within a few seconds and within a few minutes of the first meeting, he establishes a relationship so firmly that anything after that is completely based on trust -- creating lifelong friendship with the horses. Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling (latest book The Horse Seeks Me) is touching equestrians worldwide, with response in fields like natural horsemanship, horse whispering, classical and freestyle dressage, equestrian sports, western riding, endurance, eventing and horseback riding in general. He is at the forefront on working and interacting with horses and is known for authentic and effective groundwork according to the horses' nature, often proved and documented with stallions (breeding stallions). He considers the horse's psyche (horse psychology) and communicates via body language with these beautiful creatures. His first book, 'Dancing with Horses' met with overwhelming success. The main focus of his teaching is the humans' personal development and he is the founder of horse assisted manager and leadership training, having trained and coached many managers and leaders from companies all over the world. Klaus lived with wild horses in wilderness to observe their animal language and natural horse behaviour. In the beauty of this nature he developed his principals of the 'first encounter' of human and horse.
One of his specialities is the work with difficult and aggressive horses. Hempfling transforms dangerous, nervous, traumatized horses into cooperative companions. They recognize him as their leader, and become willing partners in groundwork and under saddle. The KFH riding system 'Balanced Weight Riding' starts with thorough groundwork and lungeing at liberty, building up the potential for the exercises of the High School Dressage (Haute Ecole), like shoulder-in, Spanish walk, passage.
One may say that he is meanwhile one of the leading names in the issue animal and especially horse welfare and horse passion and love, as well as horses in wildlife, roots in nature and animal communication. The German TV program called him one of the most important horse whisperer of the world. Hempfling's professional background is in the fields communication, art, theatre, music, study of native people and cultures. He lives on a small island in the Danish Archipelago where he conducts exclusive courses for people from all corners of the world.

I have 3 paso fino horses. To watch the look in his eyes at the 2:58/2:59 mark in the video just brought tears to my eyes. The tug in my heart was so strong. I know the struggles of the Spanish horses. I feel their past pains and heal their hurts. This video is so compelling and I thank you for setting his free. Much Love Always.

We can all learn something from this video....compassion and love, the compassion Hempfling shows the horseand once calmed down the love the horse shows to hempfling.....it is something that cannot be cheated of an animal, u cannot force or threaten to get it, you only get shown love from any animal if it wants to give love to you and should it choose to show you love then you are truly blessed......nothing stronger than love anywhere on this planet

Thank you Klaus. After a masterclass in The Netherlands a few years ago, I have read your books and I am following all these you tube uploads, to learn as much as possible about how people can bring peace to a horse. Thank you for your inspiration and guidance, it is remarkable what you can give us.

The moment the facial expression of the stallion turns from head up, ears back, attack-is-the-best-defence approach into the "can you please help me" with the eyebrows pulled up in a sad way never leaves me untouched.
It is something seen in many stables these days unfortunately.

Beautiful. Makes me tear up. I had a horse like this a few years back. It's not a stallion thing,or a horse thing..nor an any ordinary animal thing..it's a people thing...Animals reflect their behavior based on their owners or the people handling them. this was beautifully done.

Inspiring and very moving. At last he found someone who understood him. We can all learn from this and not just about how we deal with horses. Thank you Klaus.

It sickens me that humans tortured this beautiful horse thus making him aggressive! He has only been shown cruelty and aggression! Hes never been given a chance in life to be understood!! They are not worthy of him!! Thank the lord for people like klaus. But he cant help everyone and thats what is heart breaking!!!
