Klaus has the ability to "know" a horse within a few seconds and within a few minutes of the first meeting, he establishes a relationship so firmly that anything after that is completely based on trust -- creating lifelong friendship with the horses. Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling (latest book The Horse Seeks Me) is touching equestrians worldwide, with response in fields like natural horsemanship, horse whispering, classical and freestyle dressage, equestrian sports, western riding, endurance, eventing and horseback riding in general. He is at the forefront on working and interacting with horses and is known for authentic and effective groundwork according to the horses' nature, often proved and documented with stallions (breeding stallions). He considers the horse's psyche (horse psychology) and communicates via body language with these beautiful creatures. His first book, 'Dancing with Horses' met with overwhelming success. The main focus of his teaching is the humans' personal development and he is the founder of horse assisted manager and leadership training, having trained and coached many managers and leaders from companies all over the world. Klaus lived with wild horses in wilderness to observe their animal language and natural horse behavior. In the beauty of this nature he developed his principals of the 'first encounter' of human and horse.
One of his specialties is the work with difficult and aggressive horses. Hempfling transforms dangerous, nervous, traumatized horses into cooperative companions. They recognize him as their leader, and become willing partners in groundwork and under saddle. The KFH riding system 'Balanced Weight Riding' starts with thorough groundwork and lunging at liberty, building up the potential for the exercises of the High School Dressage (Haute Ecole), like shoulder-in, Spanish walk, passage.
One may say that he is meanwhile one of the leading names in the issue animal and especially horse welfare and horse passion and love, as well as horses in wildlife, roots in nature and animal communication. The German TV program called him one of the most important horse whisperer of the world. Hempfling's professional background is in the fields communication, art, theatre, music, study of native people and cultures. He lives on a small island in the Danish Archipelago where he conducts exclusive courses for people from all corners of the world.

This man made me realize what real horsemanship is. 4 years ago I bought a 4 year old mare, (I was 13) the only way to teach horses during that time was with bits, force, whips and without trust. Then one day I saw this video and started crying. Since that day I studied the natural way to train horses, read KFH’s book dancing with horses and started to learn. I realized that I’m not the teacher, me and my horse are both the students and the teachers. Today we have the most amazing relationship and we trust each other. No bits, no force, only trust and understanding. We compete in trail and do the things we find joy doing. KFH helped me realize that there are so much more to learn about horses and I will be forever grateful

It's like magic when you see someone that can speak fluent horse and truly communicate with it. Unfortunately, we still have too many out there that believe in "breaking" a horse, which usually just results in a broken horse.

When he stepped into the ring with this beautiful horse, I began to weep for joy uncontrollably...and I continued to cry watching the movements of the horse respond to the beautiful spirit of this man towards this beautiful horse.
    I am in awe.

A woman I once worked with got close to an abused horse by simply sitting in the corner of his stall day after day. She explained that trying to catch the horse made him defensive, but by sitting she was small and unthreatening and by staying there the horse would lose its fear and eventually wonder over,,,by letting him come to her there was no force or pressure.

Klaus helps us to stay on our path, resolute, truth to power through authentic living and harmony without contrivance. Thank you Klaus, for making the world a better place, for horses and humans ! Your generous sharing and teachings and authentic being have saved my rehabilitated dutch carriage horse Willy, who was misunderstood as naughty by previous owners who failed him. Your approach has helped transform him from hot, spooky and scared, to joy, power and vitality ! He -- and we together -- now have a chance for joyful, authentic living and riding. Thank you, will continue your approach despite convention naysayers !

It is all in his posture and movements. Look how he walks and stands. He imitates a leader horse. The horse understands that, and only that. He is just a horse, it doesn't speak human. That is why we have to learn to speak horse.

@@kitty_1960 As you say this is a wonderful result of outstanding knowledge and skill ! However, at 1:58 etc, he IS using a whip! That being said, is he abusing the horse with it or guiding it ? So it's not the use of the whip that is the issue, isn't it HOW such a tool is used? His results speak for themselves!

Each time I watch Mr. KFH doing these miracles I get moved and have tears in my eyes. He has a gift that few other people have. The horses feel immediately his calm great Leadership, while most people show to the horses only love, worship and apprehension, which is vain. Beyond his prior experiences every horse is anyway a great lazy animal and when he feels the charism of the human partner the Magic happens! So simply but so difficult...
    I madly love horses.

Great work! You can tell this man loves his job and really care for horses. Horses can pick up your vibes. Whatever your feeling or intentions are horses can pick it up. Its so important to manifest Love and patience when raising or training a horse. Any animal loves to be loved and care for in a loving way just like we humans. Fortunately some purchases a horse for sport, there more interested in what they can get from out of the horse but have no interest in expressing love for there horse. We need more individuals like this man in this video to teach horse owner the proper way of how to raise a horse. God bless you sir! Keep up the good work! 😄

Interesting how at 4.34 Klaus stops Louise rubbing her hand up and down fast on the stallions forhead and show's her how to stroke him smoothly and slowly. You see so many people doing this to horses, dogs and cats. As a human I would hate this agitated unsteady touch and energy. Big lesson in this alone.

    • @dieginny3140
      @dieginny3140 7 років тому +2

It's not as simple as that at all.
If you want your horse to respect you, you have to give him a reason.
Just having respect towards the horse and being nice doesn't get you anywhere. In fact, most people with "problem horses" have to much "respect" or are even afraid of their horses. The horse picks up on that and turns into a respectless, ill-behaved horse pretty quickly, because he thinks he's stronger and can push you around without consequences.
If you want your horses respect, you have to demand it, you have to work for it.
