Yo guys got a great question on r/goalkeepers on why I added the crossover step into this drill. I put my reply in the description so all of you guys could see the reasoning behind it.
Yeah man, I actually got a video already filmed and edited on some basic handling drills. There's a handful of them that you will be ok doing if you have a lower body injury. It will be coming out in the next few weeks.
great first vid. glad you all doing this for keepers. @GK Goluremi would love to have you do a session for our academy here in MD sometime . I'll hit you on the gram. We also have Chelsea FC academy coming next month(Aug) to do some goalkeeping sessions and summer camp. Will John hilarious in the background btw :)
You just missed me man. Currently in Croatia on trial and if everything goes according to plan I won't be back in the DMV until next summer. And Will tries his best to steal the spotlight at any chance he can get.
So I started out at Premier AC or PAC, which was actually founded by Bill Hamid's father who happened to be my first goalkeeper coach. Then I spent like 4 years at Arlington Premier. And spent my last two seasons before college with D.C. United's academy.
Honestly, not 100% sure how'd I explain that. I think it mostly just comes down to practice and keeping your eye on the ball. With time and repetition you will start to correctly pick up the flight of the ball.
This technique wont be good, the ball still can go under you, just like at the first, the second is the correct and not the third, you must catch the ball
That view is crazy, really helpful video
I love your way of explaining key points of the technique, this is really helpful to keepers
Hi guy I'm Italian....You're a good goalkeeper...bye
Hi lad I'm Irish.....Thanks......bye
Hi guy I’m Dominican Republic…..Thanks……bye

Can you make a video on how to read the ball correctly?

GK GOLUREMI thanks for the tips! Keep up the great work too btw 🔥
What happens when you do not have time to take that big quick step?
How come only 441 people came from will and subbed any way great vid
Because 99.9% of the subscribers on Will's channel are soft field players who are too scared to challenge themselves by playing a real position.
If the ball is pretty much above the ground like somewhere near knees, is it necessary to dive while catching the ball?
Here's a tutorial I did on the specific shots I think you are talking about. ua-cam.com/video/wgjE4Pjz1co/v-deo.html
Can u do a video on how to handle shots on the bounce or balls that skid?
That exact video is coming out today!
@@GKGOLUREMI ur honestly a legend I've made many mistakes on those types of shots.
