when i was real young i did the classic dropkick until i saw the goalie on the opposing team do a side volley and i thought it looked cooler so i started doing it that way lmao
I built a passable side volley in my early 40s, if I can do it anybody can. Of note, be sure to follow through and land with your weight on your kicking foot, that will help you transfer maximum power to the ball.
HAHAH I was there when he hit the coach in the face...one of the funniest things I've ever seen...Quality side volley as well.
If I did that to my coach he would've vollied the ball right into my face hahaha

The most hardest technique, been practicing it for 10 months until I got the technique. And it's Soo useful guys.
Today i knew why i was not able to do it i have almost comforted every keeping techniques high dives long dives reflexes but volley ☹️

I used to work on this quite a bit and was my favourite technique to use when trying to hit a forward downfield on a counter
It's useful I tried and I done it but not like you because you are talented
It's just practice man. This took me a lot of failed attempts to get down.

Side volleys are ssssSSSSsssweet!!! Especially if you happen to magically find yourself out of your 18 doing a clearance.
Normally in that situation I just pop the ball up as high and far as possible to play it safe haha

@@Kevin-qg7yz Side volley is this specific punting technique, which is really good for through balls/line drives. A punt is just any drop kick.

for me the problem is my hand isnt big enough for a size 5
It's good but you still look really awarkad when hitting them. You make contact with the ball really low. Not as flat as it should be.
Why could you not do drop kicks?
Drop kicks don't as fast or as accurately as a side volley
