Tim, Matt, Tucker, I am a naturalized US citizen, a proud American. I grew up in the oppressive Soviet Union. I have never been a pessimist, but I am worried about America. I tend to agree, I don't know when it happened, but I feel America will never be better than it was in the past (10/20/30 years ago). I refuse to quit and do my part to preserve whatever we have left today. Great podcast!
And a lot of these cool religions are way ahead of the game. The most important part that they get is community. They are tightknit. They all gravitate towards a central idea with shared values. They also bring all of their skills to Bare for the community.
It seems to me that members of the special forces have the belief that America is still alive. I agree with this belief but I think we need you guys( Tim, Matt, Andy, Mike and everyone else)more now then ever. I know the suck is coming and we must embrace the suck! Thank you for all you have done(your service to this country) and for all you are doing now. Like preparing us for the future. God Bless America
Great episode. I served with Doc Smith in Kosovo in 1999 when it was Wild West. He saved a lot of civilian lives over there. Great guy. Awesome to see that he’s doing well.
Great podcast guys. Tucker, I really appreciated your comments on where you think we as a nation are in reality down the path to restoration. I have had that opinion myself for a long time and that belief has been a great motivation in my daily efforts.
Awesome talk, mentally stimulating. I have always subscribed to the idea that there is no true off grid, no is there no true escape, choose wisely where you live, who you bring into your inner circle because when SHTF, that is probably where you end up having to stay, and those are the people you have
I love that you guys based your conversation and your preparedness around a set of values and using that as the filter in how you make decisions. in building business and helping others design their lives I have found that most people live an emotional base life and all of their choices are dictated by how they feel. We all know the emotions lie... you guys are are doing everything you can to keep what is left of this country the America of old based on good moral values!!! keep up the much needed work!
I’m a 7-8th generation (we lost count) Austin-area Texan with an unfortunately unimpressive Navy DD214. Boy, has this area changed in my lifetime… I appreciate y’all.
One x20 Solar Flare, and we are back in the bronze age. That's my objective- world after civilization. I've collected quite a few skills to not only survive- but thrive.
Great conversation. Thanks for letting us listen in. I would love to hear your take on flash mobs. That criminal tactic seems to be growing in popularity. They mostly hit retail stores today, but what happens if it’s looting neighborhoods tomorrow?
Through COVID I've realized I wouldn't want to live in an actual apocalypse. That being said I have a family so that's not an option but it blows my mind when I talk to guys who pretend they are excited for it
What you refer to as an apocalypse is what our forefathers lived daily. Every day was a struggle to survive. This struggle is what made the men who established this country as the greatest place to live in the world. The "men" in this country have allowed evil to destroy this county by silently sitting on their hands for decades. Freedom isn't free. The real men in our country gave their lives to ensure our freedom and we have squandered it. It's our fault, and now it's time to make it right.
Great discussion! I was glad to hear the Community is the top priority in a survival situation. That is not discussed much. What is troubling to me is how the mindset has set in that a medical issue has become an emotional/political issue. Case in point: vaccines. Somehow, now vaccines are evil and are "forced" upon us. We have lived with the need for vaccines for MANY years. In the past, it was just accepted that we all get vaccines. This is part of the "Community" priority. They kept society healthier as a whole. You rightly put a major priority on Preventative Medicine. This is a vital part of that. Diseases that once were virtually eradicated have now returned, because so many have decided that they will not be "forced" to get vaccines. Community will be crippled by easily avoidable diseases. In a post apocalypse society, this will be even more important. People will have far too many other things to worry about than having to deal with diseases that re-emerge due to stupid decision-making. We cannot afford to walk around with the mindset that personal freedom is the absolute top priority. Having a cohesive Community will require some degree of relinquishing some personal freedoms for the sake of a functioning Community. This was part of the mindset of our American founding fathers. We people have got to return more to a sense of personal responsibility to each other, rather than just individual personal freedoms.
Homesteading is the core of the new America. Homesteading is not for the weak, faint of heart, and uncommitted. The advantage newcomers have this decade over the last is that the number of mentors out there who actually have experience is far far greater. 20 years ago when we started our homesteading education there were almost no living mentors with the ability to teach what they know. It can be done, but folks have to aggressively pursue it with all their physical and mental resources, and it goes without saying financial resources.
First off huge fan thanks for all the the content. Can't be more thankful to have ppl like you all giving your time and effort to this cause. My question would be what are the ppl who can't go buy a ranch, and have thousands of dollars to buy appropriate gear or have room supposed to do? I don't want to complain about not being as well off but i do think it is definitely a huge factor. Everything else I get mindset, training, finding like minded ppl having a community. Being an asset not a liability. Should we start barricading our homes? What are some finer details to maybe get started. Thanks again!
Thank you guys for all that you do and the relentless positivity. Things to talk about: Is the US the only/last place where true democracy (power of the people) still has a chance? Can we prevent the brainwashing of the masses? Can we educate ourselves and others globally in a each one teach one method to be truly aligned, and in a healthy mind/body no matter what the religion, ethnicity, location? Should Sheepdog Response be basic education for every global citizen, should it be part of school? Keep up the great work guys and all the best to you and your families. Be in touch
Late to your channel, but love the videos man! Fellow Texan, building towards following your lead on a lot of what you're doing helping people.. big fan brother
Thank you for sharing this knowledge. Topic idea. Can you talk about choosing the right wife or "partner" to live this lifestyle with? Most importantly how to plant the seed of these ideas so they themselves CHOOSE it on their own... instead of "you NEED to watch/listen to this podcast!"
Another awesome episode lots of great perspectives few things I didn’t even think of super helpful information! Would love to know more about the best foods and water options, resources, and processes you commented about that you used for or want to use for your family. Also Thank you to you and your teams for all the stuff y’all put out and do. You really have made me wake up to the lazy, naïve and easy to kill human I’ve been please don’t stop!
I live in cleveland with a career that doesnt make me alot of money so my question would be how would i go about finding people to form a community, and how would i go about being able to afford to train in martial arts and buy land to bug out to if shit hits the fan. I agree with everything discussed and have wanted to start prepping for a long time but i dont have the financial means or know enough like minded people to do so. Thank you for all that you do, God bless America
Love these conversations and loving the look of the podcast. Any chance these are going to be uploaded to Spotify in the future for easier listening while I'm working?
Great Discussion and learned of insights that I've thought about but was not put in perspective til now. Pieces of a puzzle was put together. Keep up the great work and topics Brother 🤙
I’d like to hear their take on those who are like minded people. But don’t have the resources or finances to prep for end of world or apocalypse. • It’s fun to imagine apocalypse, when you got money to sit around training for it. But majority of fans watching this. Don’t have the finances for it. Most are lower class
Thanks Tim and company a lot of great insight. Your guys thoughts on lake mead were interesting, living in Vegas for many years and seeing the lake level fall is un nerving to say the least. This is a town of dumb founded dip shits. That being said Vegas will have water , the rest of the south west may not but the SNWA made sure of that ten years ago with the third straw into the lake I watched Send Me and was moved to tears we live in this great country and are truly oblivious to the brutality out side our boarders ( but it’s coming). I would love to hear you talk about your night runs out side the Kobal air port to retrieve those ppl. What you saw what you smelt just what it was like to have those busses turned away. Thanks for your service
Somehow I missed this new podcast which is hilarious as I was just thinking yesterday & was goingbto msg Tim about him getting back into podcasting. They really need to get on a podcast server & has this as audio or audio & video so we don't have to rely upon YT or burning up data & my battery as the phone sits in my pocket as I listen. I highly recommend Tim reach out to Jocko & get on Defcor!
It'd be really cool to have some financial/sound money guys on that share this mentality as well. Lynette Zang and Jay Martin would be some great choices. Thanks for what you do!
As a moderately trained loyal to do what’s needed person (from the old country), in this situation, how does one approach to join with valuable skills to not be deleted ?
Great episode and tons of helpful info thanks guys! Question: As someone who is wanting to be more self reliant and moving from where Tucker was back in 2019 to where he is today, where should I start? I working to start taking courses for training, but any books, podcasts, people to follow/listen to, or anything at all I can use to gather more information you'd recommend? Thanks and love these episodes.
Yeah man, awesome conversations. At 63 yrs. old I get super pumped to continue to train and stay as strong as possible for whatever is coming. Sometimes it’s frustrating though to still have a super young mindset, but also deal with the limited physical and mental aspects of the aging process. I guess the thing that’s most important is family, building a like minded community and keeping a good balance of training and preparing for all of it together. Looking forward to the upcoming SheepDog course I’m signed up for in Nov.
Exactly! Everybody wants to grab some cool guy, go bag and a red rifle and think that they’re ready for an apocalypse. That’s not really how it works. There has to be a community/tribe. You have to be able to shoot, move, communicate and medicate.
Great podcast lad, enjoyed it! I think it would have been good to have had a few tangible take aways from this. What I mean is talking about what makes a great bug out bag, what is good to do to get you started on the prepared journey etc. Maybe even a Q&A section from the viewers would be a good end to the podcasts.
I always worry that I am not up to it in survival or the apocalypse because I blew my knee out and broke my back and I have got brain injury from to many broken helmets from trying to be Travis Pastrona to the point I had to fight my emplorier and the state of New Jersey to not go on permanent disability because sitting still is death to me but then people tell me I would be ok because I dedicated my life to being able to fix anything because if someone built it I can fix it . But I keep telling my self I would be dead wait cause if my injuries what would be the best thing I could do to make my self better
I rarely run. My emt teacher told me you can't help a patient if you're a patient yourself. Now you need to get your ambulance out of service, a second ambulance for you AND an ambulance for the original patient. Obviously that's for a gnarly injury but you never know.
Love the show. One tip from producing some podcasts -- wear headphones and y'all wont need to strain your voice + it'll lead to less talking over eachother! Sometimes Tim tried to talk but the others didn't hear him. Much love!!

And that’s why the government is shutting them down. They don’t need anyone else. Did u see they got raided several times recently for “raw milk.”

Cypress Hill told us many years ago that "When the shit goes down you better be ready." But, obviously, very few people are listening.

I was wondering the same thing. I heard them talk about acute care, but not long term.
