      I find it really odd and don't trust how main stream media shoved this guy down our throats. I've been listening to what he says closely and he seems like another smooth talking Obama who knows the right things to say. The trick is to redirect to how socially liberal he is without acknowledging much of the complete financial failing the status quo has sprung up for a majority of Americans. If another crash were to happen like it did under Obama's watch I'd wager he'd also side with the banks because he believes in the "American way" (A nod to American Exceptionalism which is a nod to much of the status quo). With these kinds of people you have to read between the lines which I did in this video and it completely confirmed that he's another Obama. In particular from 6:10 - 7:00 he talks about how he agrees with the status quo on foreign policy and to make you get on his side he brings up all the "bad" countries to claim the US way is the best. How about looking at the European countries?
      A quote from this article also disturbed me : nationalinterest.org/feature/does-pete-buttigieg-have-foreign-policy-53022
      “This war is not over, whatever you may hear. But one day it will be, and the measure of what we achieved at such great cost will be taken by asking whether Americans and Afghans live better, freer lives because we served,”
      Clearly these are nods to the military industrial complex. It's also funny how the National Interest mentions Tulsi Gabbard in that same article right before talking about his foreign policy to suggest they are similar because of they are veterans with similar deployments however if you listen to his message it's obviously exactly opposite of where Tulsi Gabbard stands on Foreign Policy.
      CNN Rigged debates for Hillary Clinton I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing it for Pete Butigeg. You don't see just any candidate out there going from no press coverage to non-stop mainstream media coverage all bombarding you at once.

    • @Deadmazter
      @Deadmazter 5 років тому

      @san juanita cruz You know exactly what I mean by that statement. He got a whole ton of coverage out of nowhere for no particularly good reason when there are candidates like Tulsi Gabbard and others struggling to get more coverage. I don't trust mainstream media.
      " Don’t like him , don’t watch him."
      I don't like his policy or what he says. I will continue to watch all side of politics because I'm an informed citizen. This isn't a sport. If you want to discuss actual policy then we can discuss it but you making it seem like its personal from my end is just not the way things are. I'm speaking facts and logic here.

      ^ That quote from Pete Butigeg is also Historical revisionism at its finest. Afghanistan was actually the freest country in the middle east with women enjoying many rights. Now it's pretty much destroyed. He's defending the status quo by making it seem like these wars are about freedom when in reality they're about oil, opium, the military industrial complex, and other geo-political advantages. He's another Obama. We do NOT need another Obama. Sure he's a smooth talker but millions of people literally lost their homes because he chose to bail out the banks and not the American citizens they screwed.

      Yeah, he dodges every question. It amazes me that people don’t see this. He goes on for 10-15 mins without mentioning a single policy proposal to help fix the dire issues our country faces now and will face in the 21st century. I realized this guy was a fraud in the first interview I saw him in where he went 10 mins and didn’t say anything about how we’re going to clean up this mess. There are only a couple of reasons why a politician would do this: 1) he being funded by big corporate donors who he can’t offend (he is in fact), 2.) no one can say he went back on a policy proposal if he never made any... 3.) He’s naive and doesn’t have any (I’m guessing the 3rd isn’t the case). And why would the “left” MSM love a guy SO MUCH that hasn’t proposed any solutions... I wonder.
      Yeah, he’s “articulate” and “well spoken”. So were Obama and Bill Clinton. Look where we are now. Pete is in the same boat, getting caught at “secret dinners” with Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, one of the biggest DNC’s financiers, etc. to try to keep everyone’s eye on him while he doesn’t say anything of substance. We, Americans, lose either way if Buttegeig is elected. He’ll be another 4-8 years of Obama, bring us another Trump, and have wasted all of this time which we don’t have. We have to start putting real measures in place in the next 2-6 years or we are doomed in more than one way.

    Wow. I'm actually satisfied with that answer. No pivot. No juke. He answered the question and then talked about what he learned from his role in that situation. The humility he showed by admitting that he made a mistake in his priorities by focusing too much on just avoiding breaking the law and not enough on how this would be perceived by a community that he genuinely wants to build trust with - ultimately he made a good decision because obtaining evidence with illegal means isn't something we can tolerate. The evidence that was gathered was valuable in that it exposed unacceptable behavior but the way in which it was obtained was not correct or even legal. I'm genuinely impressed. We're all human and we all make mistakes but as long as we make the best selfless decision we can then what else can you ask?
