I like the reviews, Wayne, so keep them coming!
I also have the Clarisonic Face Brush and I use it once a week for deep cleaning. And you do have to be careful about over exfoliating your skin, which can lead to irritation and other problems.

U r awesome! Great reviews, Very informative, I have a clarisonic, and was indeed using other exfoliators, i.e. retinols etc..U r not kidding about the skin irritation! I have been having a horrible time with it!! Your advice is the best I've found. I did ease up on them, but I will do so more thanks to your great and sound review/advice.

Thanks for doing this review, i actually think i might go out and get this now. Just a question, have you tried the Dermanew, microdermabration kit? It's similar, only with a dual attatchment. I don't know which to pick, though i have to say, i trust your reviews much more than those of most other YT gurus.

@aria19x Thank you! I have used exactly that salicylic acid based cleanser and my skin freaked out. I am to try something gentle now and will see what will happen. And will also start using the Mia less frequently now. Do you use face masks when using the Clarisonc, or is too much?

I have had my Clairsonic for almost 2 years and I still love it. One thing I can say is that after using it, your skin care products work better. I spent $200 US on it and it was well worth it!

I got a Clairsonic for Christmas, and I do love it. It makes my skin cleaner, but it's also reduced the oil production. (This sucks partially because I've had to change my makeup and skin care routine because I now have drier skin)
Good to hear another great review from someone who's opinion i respect and trust.

oh and may i ask where you buy your organic honey? The only place i know to buy is in the supermarket but i'm guessing those are too commercial. I bought a rather cheap bottle of honey from the supermarket but i'm guessing it's not really pure cuz it's not really doing anything to my skin.

@tiarefleur1 So, I can still use the Mia and a face mask after that and it won't hurt my skin? I cut using the Clarisonic only to 3 times a week, but it is not enough and I am going to search for a good cleanser. Any recommendations? Thanks :)

  • @caldevera

Hey, I'm Filipino too and i just started using honey on my face yesterday for my acne.Well, obviously i haven't seen results yet but i'm hopeful. What do you mix with your honey? I mixed mine with some extra virgin olive oil to make it easier to apply to the skin since the honey's too thick on its own. I leave mine for quite a long time or overnight. Uhh, i buy just regular honey though. I find the organic ones too pricey. Hopefully it's still fine.

oh sorry to add but i also am using honey in hopes it can help minimize if not remove my acne craters. They aren't that deep but i just recently got them from some nasty pimples. I'm hoping that since i'm still young and they're still relatively new, i can heal them naturally with honey (anti-bacterial) and olive oil (to help moisturize them). Would you happen to have any tips for acne craters?

Hey Wayne! Mine just came in the mail today, birthday gift for me!! :) I can't wait to use it, I hope it helps reduce pore appearance, it claims to do that! How often do you change your brush head? I have to be very careful and extra extra clean with everything, I had a bone marrow transplant earlier this year so I'm super sensitive to everything now! xoxo Michele

I though that I was the only one who did not like the Clarisonic, but obviously I did something wrong. I purchased the Mia version 3 months ago and started using it both am and pm. But, in a a matter of weeks my skin started to look uneven and with a bad texture. I am using the 3 step system by Clinique for blemish skin. I have been using the same products for years and they cured my acne. The only new product introduced is Neutrogena Ani wrinkle night cream. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks!

do you like the oil of olay prox advance cleansing system. its basically very similiar to the clarisonic, with a few exceptions o.o.o the bruistles go in a circular motion. anyways, i guess what im asking is what is a good skkin care ROUTINE? products, of what you should look for in products etc. obviously i know to wash, mouisturize, exfoliate weekly. but idk have u heard of emu oil? ive been usgin that as a moiusturizer and it is working wonders. Mymom n Aunt use as well and im telling u...

I love mine! I've had it for a little over a year, and it has unclogged my sensitive pores, reducing their appearance and given me a pretty nice glow. To everyone balking at the price, you're forgetting that you won't have to buy your exfoliator anymore. My old exfoliator was $20/month, so in owning this product, I've saved $240 in just one year, which out weighs the cost of this magnificent device, hands down. It's also awesome for men who have shaving issues or ingrown hairs.
