im glad you mentioned it gets worse before it gets better because a lot of people don't know that and quit once they break out but its so important to keep going. its called the purging stage when your skin is pushing out all the blocked up nasty stuff that was sitting under the surface, you will break out but it will get better! so worth it.
False I've been using this for six months and it's made my skin worse and worse
I know you're lying for sure - if you use this every day your skin will clear the purging stage... I've never heard of this stage lasting longer than 8 weeks, and that's a most-extreme case. Why lie on the internet? Lol
Lilboh Beat i don't think she's lying I've heard countless stores of this not working for people, even those that constantly used it through what they thought to be the purging stage. not everything is going to work for everyone, unfortunately.
Guys she said it would last a week or two SMH if it lasts over a month this obviously isn't working for YOU.
I dont understand why you leave your foundation on before using the clarisonic. I would think taking your foundation off before would allow for a better cleaning.

I work in the makeup industry and where I work at has the clarisonic And the reason you can leave your makeup on is bc the clarisonic is able to clean your makeup off your face!

I kind of thought the same thing, if it is penetrating that deep won't the make just go deeper into your skin?😅
Miss M yeah I always take off most of my makeup with a miclear water or a makeup removal wipe. If you use it to remove full face of makeup with the brush head it won’t last as long.
I love my Clarisonic. Took me forever to actually buy it but I'm so glad I did.

I got the Mia 2 for Christmas and I LOVE LOVE it!! I have a very oily t-zone and do have a breakout here and there, but I did get some sun damage (discolored spots) from our summer vacation and my clarisonic helped bring my skin back to one color! phew!
I can't believe I've had my mia 2 3 months now and NEVER knew you could unclip the middle part for more precise brushing!! WHAT! hahahha.....I'm glad I watched this video again!

This was probably the most helpful review i have seen on the clarisonic mia 2. I have been on the fence about getting one and really been tryig to find out a lot more about it before purchasing. I am definitely heading out to buy one now and can not wait to try it out as i have such bad skin.. not only with hormonal breakouts but i have started to notice bumps on the sides of my nose and started to get a lot of blackheads on my inner cheek area. This review was so helpful, i didnt even know the outter part of the brush head popped out for a more specific spot cleanse. Thanks so much jaclyn you have got me so excited! :) x

Her pupils are like non existent and it looks so cool.
Did you know that whenever we see someone we like, our pupils grow larger or dilate. It's almost as if our eyes are trying to see as much of this person as possible. It contracts when it sees the opposite. This is an involuntary and uncontrollable physiological response.
Love this product! It has changed my life. I used to have really oily skin and bad acne and it has practically disappeared in only 2 months. Great tip about taking the outer ring of. Love you videos!
Very thorough review and much appreciated. I was gifted the original full size Clarisonic brush ( It's larger than the Mia and has 4 speed settings) when they first came out. It still works great and I love it! Absolutely worth it!!

Great video!! Thank you so much! I am sitting here with my mom visiting and we were talking about her Mia 1 and how I really wanted to try it out. I am in nursing school and notice more breakouts do to being in a hospital with bacteria and gross bugs and needed something to help my 28y/o oily skin. We looked up the Clarisonic website and couldn't decide which one was better until I look up Mia reviews in UA-cam. We love your cute video and how great you are with explaining! I have acne prone (cystic) and sensitive skin which I have gotten under control, for the most part, due to using Murad for about 4 months now. However, I still have an oily-skin problem and breakouts still come often, just not in abundance. I will definitely be getting the Mia 2! You have no idea how helpful and informative your tutorials are! I've learned so much...thank you!!!

LilyKitty1990 I have really sensitive & combination skin plus some really dry spots so I use it about 2x a week. I just like to use it after a full face makeup which I don't wear makeup everyday be cuz I need some natural oil to remain on my face so I don't have to much dry spots. I think it works wonderful taking dirt off but I do still have some breakouts here and there. I don't feel like it clears away the acne, but maybe I'm doing something wrong be cuz my face hasn't been completely spotless since I purchased the product.
That's probably because you've only been using it twice a week. If you want to see results, you'll have to use it a few times a week. Hope that helps.

my skin has changed a lot, I didn't have much of a purging stage, but it really did prevent a lot of new breakouts, I used to have pizza face, but now I have normal to occasional breakout, if I miss days of using it, so be consistent! even I bought one for my brother.. the clarisonic alpha fit for men. he has yet to use it but I know he will love it too. exfoliating my face is key for my skin though. I would definitely recommend and repurchase mine.

Just purchased the mia 2 because if you, Jaclyn. Acne, large pores and texture are all problems of mine and I'm really excited to finally be comfortable with my skin, as I haven't been for the past 5 - 6 years when my skin began acting up... Damn teenage hormones. But thank you SOOO much for this review! I really respect how open, honest and all around knowledgable you are and how you explain everything about the product as I find a lot of other reviews aren't anywhere near as good as yours.

Skin care routine please!
I love love love Clarisonic , we have used it for years with success. I only use mine at night with murad acne cleanser. One of the only complaints i have is due to the short battery life 1.5 year I feel like this creates a lot of waste. It would be great if you could recycle this and or send it in for a discount on your next one.
So what to do if the battery dies? Can buy one ?
+June laulau you can recharge for like 100 uses (I am not sure the exact number ) but when it finally dies then it dies and your stuck with a piece of trash
Really? From ur initial post, it lasted for 1.5 years then the battery will not work and need to buy a new clarisonic if my understanding is right? But then it would be not reasonable for the price tag and surely there would be a lot of complaints if that is the case. I expect it should work for years like more than 5 yrs like any electronic of good brands.
You are so right about this product. There is a break out stage after you start using it..BUT once you get through that stage.. the BEST skin ever. Thanks so much! I highly recommend this product to anyone on the fence about it.

I bought the Mia 2 off of your recommendation! My skin is smooth but the breakout phase has been lasting about 2-3 weeks and hasn't gotten that much better yet. How long did your breakout phase last?
I'm wondering the same thing! I actually bought the Clarisonic online so before receiving it, I started a skincare regime that I never really did before. I usually just used to use a face wash in the shower. I started using a cleanser, exfoliating scrub, moisturizer, facial masks, and a alcohol-free toner. My skin started to purge even before I received my Clarisonic [my skin is relatively clear]. I finally got my Clarisonic yesterday.

It wasn't helping my breakouts either until I stopped using it everyday, I do have very dry/sensitive skin so just using it 3 times a week really made a difference! I read that some people were having problems with the clarsonic because they just were OVER-exfoliating, so now that I use it every so often and my skin is very clean and very clear! :)

It got rid of blackheads for me! I saw results on the first use, but that's just me! Hope this helps :)

My skin is currently in the purging stage. A lot of people blame the brush itself but people seem forget that it could also be whatever else you're using to wash your face. If it makes your face red, maybe the face wash you're using is too harsh since it's going deeper into the skin than usual using the brush. Research people, don't be so quick to jump to conclusions based on some else's experience.
Is the purging stage over now? I also want to start using it and i really wanna know how long it goes...:)
My purging stage is definitely over for me. I got my brush on January 19th, and a few weeks ago I noticed my skin is no longer dry and the spots where my skin broke out, have dried up and are starting to fade away.
I did notice that depending on how hard I placed the brush on my skin, the more or less irritated my skin got. I recommend placing the brush on your skin gently, since you're just beginning to use it and avoid harsh products. I use Philosophy Purity to remove my make up, and for everything else I use Lush products. Good luck, and if you need anymore advice, I'd be glad to help you :)

+Sandra T Hey! I've stopped using mine recently because I noticed it stopped making a difference in my skin. For dry skin my only tips are to keep your skin hydrated not only with moisturizers but also by drinking a lot of water.
The Clarisonic may help with removing the dead skin, as long as it doesn't irritate it. Hope this helps, anymore questions feel free to ask :)

I bought the Mia 2 two months ago from your recommendation and I absolutely luv it! I am amazed at how my skin glows. Luckily I did not experience the breakout phase. The Mia is great for traveling due to it compact size and you don't need to charge for approximately 30 days.
You really give the best reviews! Because of you I've bought and have been satisfied with a lot of products; including sigma brushes & philosophy facial cleanser!

Great review, Jaclyn. Could not agree more. Just got my Mia 2 and I cannot believe how much gunk was still on my face even though I thought I had cleaned most of it off. I use a makeup wipe to initially do my face and then follow up with my Shu Uemura cleansing oil. I love my Mia 2 and would never be without it now. It has totally improved the condition of my oily combination skin.
After your video I had to get myself a clarisonic brush. I bought the Mia 2 a year ago and I have to say it was the best purchase I've ever made for skin. It is amazing!

I have the normal mia and I agree it is the number one thing in my skincare. I use it every night and have been using it for 6 months now, the past 4 my skin has never looked better. Great review!
Thank you so much for the review/recommendation. My usually large pores are so tiny now and blackheads are 97% GONE. I can't believe the difference this has made in my skin in just a couple of weeks.
I just got one from the Good Will for $10 bucks. JACKPOT!!! I had No Idea these things were this expensive and clearly, they didn't either. It came with 5 new heads. It looks like it's brand new and never used. I can't wait to start using it and pray it helps with my rosacea.

I looooove my Clarisonic ! I actually do use the deep pore brush and it works great for me. After the first use of this machine my face felt baby smooth.
