Wow...I think I may try this. I've always contoured with powders, but this looks a lot faster and a lot easier. It was so effortless how you blended the contour where as with a powder, I spend forever blending with my stiff blush brush until I get the look I want. Thanks for this!

please please please respond to this question: I use the M.A.C foundation NC15 because im very pale and tend to have that 'ghostly' look about my skin in the winter and a sort of 'porcelain' look in the summer. is that contour colour you used too dark for my skin or would that be ok. it's just that is looks like a very dark brown and I know that you blended it out, but would it still be too dark and overly obvious for someone as pale as I am?
this is an amazing video, love this technique :)

Do you ever recommend using white eye liner for the bottom water line? Some people asset it makes the eyes look bigger, but I've never tried it. Luckily, I have big, dark eyes with thick, dark lashes, but I wanted to try it for dramatic effect.

It seems as though almost everytime I try using this technique when it comes to the blending method, my foundation just kind of blends right off of my face. I have oily skin, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I'm also using Ben Nye. I don't know if you've read this book, but I was going for that "Egyptian Goddess" look created in Scott Barnes About Face book where he uses the yellow based concealer to highlight. Any advice/suggestions?

    Kool video...
I'm planning on dressing up as Spike from Buffy this halloween and this gave me alot of helpful tips.
What would your advice be to generally to get a paler skin tone, I've got
    light Ivory pan stick,
    matt finish pure powder
and various other medium tone foundations I was planning on using as shadowing.
Should I use the pan stick only on the highlights ?
and will the finishing powder be good enough on its own to pale the skin.

.When you use the darker contouring creme does the "undertone" of the skin make a difference when choosing which darker color? I don't like to shop on line because the few times I did, I was shocked at some of the colors when seen with the naked eye, way different than the picture! So, what would be a good alternative that I might find locally?
Thank you:) (sometimes I wonder why I do this to myself... it's not like you can even read all comments let alone answer them! lol Oh, well!)

Like my skin is so cool I practically look beige and green, so I imagine picking out the colours would be a bit tricky, and obviously you're warm, so it may be off on me colour-wise.
