I'm in Oregon, and our 92 octane (premium) is $4.19 a gallon, Non-Ethanol 92 is $5.00, and 110 octane race gas is around $11-12/gal. Some towns in California are around $5.40 a gallon for 87 octane 0.0

This is caused from pumping the engine with fuel, because your flooring it. Then when you change gears, you let off the gas. It floods the engine for a split second, and causes a misfire. The misfire is forced into the catalytic converter and overwhelms it, and goes straight into the exhaust pipe. Causing the fumes to burn out of the back. Has nothing to do with a control system. Its just how all fuel burning cars are made.

I'd guess it takes a while to stop being astonished at what a thousand hp can do. Every spring when I take my bike out of the garage I'm amazed again at what going from 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds feels like. Also, if the turbo is running at 20psi, you don't use 110 octane fuel to make your car faster. You use it to even be able to go anywhere near full pressure, because at 20psi any other fuel would knock the fuck out of the engine.
So, why the flame on the gear change ? Would that not suggest the control systems could still be more organised .......... or is it about the 3 member length ?

And he's not some rich guy that doesn't know anything about cars. He really enjoys the specs, the mechanics, and long walks on the beach...I mean uh...speed ;D
question since that 110 gas is leaded fuel are you running with out cats? because if your not your going to plug up the cats and damage the exhaust system,and or valve seats might get damaged depending on the type of metal used
If you know anything about cars/tuning/shops/performance.. you will know all Underground Racing does is pump out cars over 1000WHP. 1250 is peanuts for these cars. Nice car and congrats on your young success you two!
im lucky that a new Marathon Opened up few months ago and only sells Racing fule for Cars and Marine. No one else does this, and im out in country off a huge lake.
Haha definitely, After i finish my R32 Skyline drift car im going to build my EL XR6 to make one of the only turbo EL's in New Zealand. Its lowered with a full kit and full Alpine sounds in it. Now it just needs the power ;)
