A celebrity in america is like a rich child in a sheltered home. They havent had like. REAL experiences, everyting is so fake and fabricated, thats probably one of the first times they actually got to go in a car that wasnt there, where everything wasnt under their control, and had a bit of real fun. lol

@@realchilldude1271 I'm sure that's the case for some celebs who really do give most celebs a bad rep, but it is a generalisation. There was a time where Tom Cruise was light with the whole Oprah thing but people who work with him have all said he is a consummate professional and super generous. I really doubt he likes to be driven around, he is a hands on actor who does most of his own stunts, not just his own stunts but stunts that no other Hollywood actor would even dare.
Stunt pilot, regular pilot, stunt helicopter pilot, does his own stunt car driving and motorcycle stunt riding, drives F1 car almost as fast as a formula 1 driver, highly under rated actor and genuinely nice guy. What a guy.

Everyone always talks about Tom's lap, but Diaz had an amazing lap. She also doesn't seem like the type of person who would know how to drive a manual, but she killed it. Probably the best celeb in a reasonably priced car ever in top gears history.

Just watched this again in 2021, both Cam and Tom looked genuinely happy & enjoying themselves here. Don’t think i have ever seen Tom & Cam look this happy in any other interviews.
Have you seen the movie they were in together? It's tack sharp and hilarious. Their chemistry in it is perfect. (Sorry if that is why this was posted, I have not read all he comments or watched all of the Top Gear video.)

Tom and Cameron seem to have great friendship. He seems so affectionate towards his female friends. I've seen his interactions with other women, eg Gwyneth Paltrow, Rosie, Oprah, he seems to have genuine affection for them, who may or may have thirsted after him at one point in their lives haha. When he tells Cameron, "good luck", he looked like a sweet, supportive older brother. My heart.

I've kinda had a bad opinion on Tom Cruise because of the Scientology/South Park stuff, but this video has turned me around a little, it really shows his personality.
He is a top bloke, very much in control, but not selfish like some stars. When he signs autographs outside the Empire Leicester Square for his fans, he waits until the last fan has gone, even if it's raining or worse.
He is a very warm, engaging, charismatic and genuine person. Unfortunately he is also a longtime member of cult. I don’t blame Tom, he’s been manipulated, taken advantage of for his star power and money by the “church.” I don’t doubt his sincerity as a true believer in the cult/church w/tax exempt status. Tom himself has said that the only way to “save mankind is by clearing the planet” in Scientology lingo. He has been surrounded by Scientologist exclusively for 20 yrs in his everyday life and home. David Miscavige didn’t just drive a wedge between him and Nicole, shortly after the announcement of their breakup his longtime agent, publicist & manager were fired. He replaced all of them with ppl who are &/or work for Scientology, mostly high ranking Sea Org members of the cult’s clergy. It’s sad to see someone like Tom who’s kind, powerful and wealthy under the malevolent control of a man like David Miscavige. Any church or spiritual leader who keeps their parishioners in line by coercion and threats of losing their eternal salvation is imo a religious abuser.
