"Step 2: pick one" this tip is perfect, I from the beginning I chose the scoia'tael and set up their entire deck, and it's the faction I liked the most, you need to choose a faction and be expert in it. amazing video, thank you 💜
Yes, Scoia'tael is amazing, I just get 1000 wins and that beautiful Iorweth avatar. It's my favourite avatar in the entire game and it looks so good with Scoia'tael border for winning 100 games with each base ability.

I went from not understanding at all to downloading the Gwent app on my phone. Even with all the cool animations and everything, I still like the Witcher 3 version better
For some reason I thought unranked would be easier, for newbie players to practice with each other. And that maybe Ranked was for advanced players. Then I, at level 6 with my Syndicate deck am suddenly facing a level 40 player! The match was surprisingly close, but I lost....obviously. That intimidated me a bit, thinking it will only get harder from there. So I dropped Gwent for awhile. But I've picked up Gwent again recently. So thank you for all the tips......especially Step 3! XD
@@apero9467 Yes, i am facing the same problem on PS4. There is no ranked mode. I tend to lose almost all rounds. Some opponents are weaker, some 3x stronger. I ve got lvl 15, but the progress is very slow. I dont know if the console account copying fixes this problem.
I feel like Gwent's supposed generosity is a bit overemphasized... I play regularly but casually and I have trouble maintaining more than 2 playable decks, often even having no good meta decks to play... Bronzes are easy to get but those golds are ever elusive. :D
If you can log in daily and get 6 round wins, that'll be a great starting point since you also get daily login rewards as well as being able to reroll quests and get those half-crowns! If you ever want to send along your decklists and collection I could help see if there's some way to improve what you've got already. Also don't forget about the 'Mill duplicates' button: I assume you've already found it but if not that is a big help after opening base kegs in particular!
You don't NEED to purchase things in Gwent, it is F2P friendly. Most of the purchases available are for cosmetics. If you do want a particular deck/cards though, look up which factions (or expansions) they're from and then focus on using your ore to buy those kegs. My video on how to read a Gwent card will help you identify which expansion a card comes from :)
seriously, who can make through that "tutorial"? i found it to be so bad that i couldn't take it anymore. nothing is more frustrating than getting some "instruction" then thrown into a game and still having absolutely no idea what to do because you don't know the WHY behind any of the actions.
Haha I have probably spent about 20-30 Euros in total on the game over 2.5 years of playing! I've just played THAT MUCH that I've gotten almost all my rewards from in-game exp
How my step #1 looked like: "Straight to step #2, you'll learn the other factions while playing against them."

If I Mulligan cards, when they go to my draw deck, do they go to the bottom of the draw deck or do they get shuffled into the draw deck?

Just got the game on Android, would you recommend getting any barrels or packs like the purchase stuff. I am overwhelmed with all the paid dlc .

If you go to 'Shop' there will be an option to 'Open Kegs': that is how you'll be able to access them! :)
Well i realized that my shop icon is not appearing lol and its been 6 days without having access to my kegs sadly.
After a won and a lost round, I managed to lose against a lvl 40 by 2 points (41-43). I'm level 11😳
