It's confusing because "old" players talk about it like you need to choose the leader for the ability. I call it Faction ability just because it makes more sense in my brain. I only have Emhyr leader but can choose all of those for my deck. Took me some time to try and figure out that confusion.
Really good point. I'm "lucky" in that I returned to the game just late enough to not have the abilities forever bound to the leader names, but the term "Leader Ability" is definitely a hangover which I've held onto!

I found a question! When Magic Lamp transforms, does it proc assimilate cards?
It just spawns the creature and isnt played, so no unfortunately
