You have to hand it to boss for such a unique pedal.
would be cool to see a future model with a dry wet knob for the clean signal to have the effect. and a second volume for the reverb delay so you can essentially turn down the reverb delay and have this effect without the delay and reverb to just effect the guitar signal or blend it all together.
Honestly probably my favorite pedal of all time

I really dig this demo. Beautiful guitar work, and it really highlights what the pedal can do for an ambient sound. I like just chilling out to this demo, haha.
I got this pedal, using it with acoustic. It's fabulous and extremely versatile. It requires time to explore various combinations of positions because the effect will change dramatically. This effect pedal is a world in itself, adding the fact that the effect type will change according to the dynamic of the attack... It's crazy.
I just ordered one from Sweetwater yesterday. What's taking so long for it to get here! Seriously,I can't wait to dive into this little Magic Box. This video makes me glad I bought the pedal. Thanks.

this is so relaxing to listen to, it's amazing what you can do with this pedal when you know how to use it like in this video. I didn't like how it sounded when I tried it once, but I might try it again and use some of your settings. Great reviews! I just subscribed.

This pedal is a great secret weapon , I see them used all the time . I think the original owners did not know how to tap into them properly- great pedal
Assuming they never remake it, it will definitely be sought after at some point. I know it's pretty highly regarded in the synth community as well. Thankfully, they made a lot of them. The DD500 has a setting as well, although I think the standalone Tera echo is definitely more dynamic and sounds more natural comparatively.
You not only demonstrate this pedal but you make a little performance out it. Very nice. 👍
This pedal is awesome, I keep it more on the mild side so it doesn’t shadow my playing but enhances it.

very useful pedal for synths!
Completely agree. It's probably my all-time favorite pedal to use with a synth, even more so than some of my bigger named feature packed stuff. It has loads of low mid harmonics that no other pedal seems to get in the echoes and verb. That particular frequency range is exactly where i like my synths to sit in a mix, just above the bass. The crazy filtering thing is also pretty much non existent if you want it to be because you just adjust your synths attack to never really trigger it. Or, alternatively, adjust it so it triggers them in a particular way from note to note

This is a great pedal! It’s very musical at every setting from mild to extreme.
The E.level does not control the volume it controls how much of the effect you have or Effect level. Pretty much a blend for the wet and dry signal just letting you know
I agree with you its a blend :) but does the E.level effect the volume of the dry signal? I cant remember.. that is probably why I didn't write blend or mix.. Boss in the manual say "Adjusts the volume of the effect sound." I should have written more that just "controls the volume".. Thanks for pointing that out :)

I'm sure we all know what a hold function does. Ever used an Ehx freeze? I'm just glad he went through all the tone settings. But if you're curious, check out Andy's demo
Well he did in the text but definitely should have demod it as well. Heck , I did a video of this pedal and I didn’t know there was a hold function. I’ll have to dedicate a whole video to that!

I think it is a lot of delays with some dynamic filtering. No reverb, even though it can sound like it at certain settings

Its a good combo. I don’t have a Tera but I have a DD-500 which has a complete Tera inside of it and an RV-6 right beside it.

thanks man :) I get this question a lot and most manuals say nothing about it.. but the behringer manuals say not to use two separate signals through one pedal.. behringers are mostly modelled on boss so i dunno if id trust it? maybe email boss and see what they say :)
right on, i was considering trying to plug in 2-3 guitars into the chain so they'd be more readily switchable, but i think what i'll do is just keep manually changing guitars using the same cable in and then split off to the Trio somewhere before the amp ;)

This has to be the worst pedal that I've ever bought... It's a one-trick pony with extremely limitted use... You can try to use it as a delay and reverb modulator, but not worth the space it takes up on your board...
You need to like the sound to enjoy it man XD
Imo, it’s a great bright ambient reverb and for shoegazing or Lo-Fi (the music type) it works great,

Tera Echo or Polara?
I don't know if you're still curious, but I'll answer anyway. Polaris is more versatile and has pretty much the same multi-options of many reverb pedals. The Tera Echo is not a swiss army knife type pedal but is, in the true sense of an often misused word, unique. This video gives a great example of just some of its possibilities.
