Whats the part number ? Or description. Mines exactly the same leak. Crazy cuz when i pulled a vacuum it held pressure for well over an hour. But then it leaked when i added refrigerant. Also a pain to find this leak. Today i learned just cuz it can hold a vacuum does not mean it is not leaking. 😟😟😟 (I updated this in comments for 2013+ traverse.)
Just to update this for anyone who might run into this. For 2013+ you can no longer replace just that one line. The new lines come as 2. (I tried. Lol) Hose assembly part # AC Delco 15-34846 $111 4seasons 66051 $95 In my case i went with the 4seasons brand because its what they had in stock. The removal of the bumper is the same as in video. In my case i used a 1/4in ratchet and deepwell 13mm socket, extension and ujoint. I undid the middle from the top, (in video was done from bottom.) then i did the front like in video. (But i only had a deepwell socket so thats why i needed a ujoint/swivel attachment.) And the side-one is easily accessible through the passenger wheel well. (No need to remove the wheel.) Car was on ramp but can be done without them. (Just seems like a pain.)
Was debating on if i should tackle this myself i see the line is leaking but i dont have tools to vacuum out refrigerant. Is that needed or can i just replace line cause the compressor cuts on once it has some in it. But i guess leaks it all out
Question, my dad pay to a mechanic to fix the AC but the car 2012 traverse doesn't blow cool air, I put the thermometer and show 63° F ,but when I press the gas pedal the temperature goes down 55° f. I put the gates and the lower show 50PSI AND THE HIGH 225psi!! So my question is, if I take off the freon, I want to use a vacuum pump. So I have to add oil pag or just the freon. Thank you God bless your

I think you should have a repair shop replace it to ensure all of the refrigerant is out
Isnt that the high pressure line? Im comfused
@tech28 i think there's coolant coming from that line on my traverse. It's that possible???
@@markheath7372 impossible to have coolant coming out of that one but maybe it’s air conditioning oil
Was coolant coming from that line

Idle temperatures are always high because there is no air blowing through the condenser. Drive it.
@@Tech-28thank you for your answer . So where is the problem?
@@Eli_is_a_Lauver not sure my friend, are the cooling fans coming on when you are at idle?
Is there only 1 ac pressure switch on 2011 traverse?
Is there only 1 ac pressure switch?
As far as I know yes
