Medium preset + FSR/TSR tuning + Frame Gen would still give a balance of visuals + performance to our brothers out there who's still running a 1080p + past gen GPU setup. Most 8gb VRAM cards can comfortably set their textures to HIGH preset. Anything past that might be a stutter fest.

And in a lotta games it's actually 4060ti that beats it. And not to mention the DLSS and Frame gen features available on the 40 series card exclusively that can improve the performance by a pretty good margin. Whenever you spill beyond your vram limit the extra vram does matter and helps the graphics card perform better than its low vram counterpart. There are a few videos on this on UA-cam that you can check that prove this. And most games use almost all of the 8gb of vram if you wanna play at high settings and not to mention that if you wanna use DLSS and Frame gen it gobbles up more vram so therefore more vram is always better. A wider memory bus would definitely be a plus but more vram on a lower bus width is not redundant as you make it seem and 8gb cards are definitely going to be obsolete as more new games come out. If i get a deal in used market i will take 3070 for 22k INR or a new 4060ti for 32k INR on sales. Blunder for AMD is that 7600xt is selling for 30k IN on sales. It deserve its spot there I guess because of it's lame pricing.... 7700xt is selling for 38k so is a long shot....

@@Schnittbaum It is relevant, it has only pcie x8. Even RTX3060ti was limited in a minimal way and it had x16. The more things you move in and out vram, the more it is going to limit a GPU. It is not something big, but it makes a difference when you try to hit 40fps on 120hz display.

its not unoptimized, its just really demanding. sooner or later games are going to use newer tech for their game engines and black myth wukong is one of those game. UE5 is just a really heavy game engine to use. its similar to crysis when it was released.
you should really know what you are talking about before humiliating yourself, a demanding game is not an unoptimized game you can see that by the difference between low-med-high-v.high-cinematic performance and the scaling you get relative to visuals and performance loss/gain, i can get around 60fps on my sub 250 gpu on most settings on cinematic and high settings, with some framegen too
