I’m a social worker in an infusion center and I try to talk to the spouses too. You all have a hard road and it’s hard when the sick person gets all “attention.” You might see if you can talk to the social worker and see if there are support groups in your area. I wish your family all the best. ❤

He has unchecked anger issues and that's why he's with such a young woman. Because she's naiive and doesn't realize how toxic he is until she goes through the verbal abuse herself. The man is in his early 30s and look at his life, instead of improving himself he finds young women he can manipulate.
I am kinda sympathetic about the Jasmine and Gino situation. I got sick a few years ago and had to take some medicine that destroyed my sex drive. But, there was no other alternative. I had to take this medicine and I had to take it for several months. The lack of attention made my husband feel bad and when he voiced his feelings, it made me feel bad and it became an endless cycle. There was so much pressure to have sex that the thought of it made me so anxious. I even gave my husband a free pass as long as he was safe, and it wasn't with anyone we knew. Eventually, when my sex drive finally got back to normal, I would prefer "alone time" than being intimate with my husband because the idea of performing was so stressful. When I made an effort to get things back to normal with him, he would express that the frequency wasn't enough for him or something. Comments like that would build up that pressure again and we would revert back to that cycle. It took over two years for intimacy to not be an issue in our relationship.

My husbands been on chemo for a year, he's got lung cancer. Up until a few week's ago, he's been feeling pretty good, he's positive, (I'm the one who's a wreck inside). So, this morning was chemo day, I go to every one, I take off work, & OMG, I don't mean to make this about me, I'm gonna try getting to my point without sounding like a selfish biotch now! This morning, I slept through my alarm, HE had to wake me up, so the time I allow myself before we leave didn't happen! My fault, but then we bickered a bit & it made for a crappy morning. I'm usually more positive, but the whole things starting to get to me. Again, I apparently need to vent, it's getting to both of us. He's not as open with his feelings, so, i can only speak to how I'm feeling. I'm sounding awful in this comment, all I want to say is Thank You Po for making my day a whole lot lighter! I’m a social worker in an infusion center and I try to talk to the spouses too. You all have a hard road and it’s hard when the sick person gets all “attention.” You might see if you can talk to the social worker and see if there are support groups in your area. I wish your family all the best. ❤

I am kinda sympathetic about the Jasmine and Gino situation. I got sick a few years ago and had to take some medicine that destroyed my sex drive. But, there was no other alternative. I had to take this medicine and I had to take it for several months. The lack of attention made my husband feel bad and when he voiced his feelings, it made me feel bad and it became an endless cycle. There was so much pressure to have sex that the thought of it made me so anxious. I even gave my husband a free pass as long as he was safe, and it wasn't with anyone we knew. Eventually, when my sex drive finally got back to normal, I would prefer "alone time" than being intimate with my husband because the idea of performing was so stressful. When I made an effort to get things back to normal with him, he would express that the frequency wasn't enough for him or something. Comments like that would build up that pressure again and we would revert back to that cycle. It took over two years for intimacy to not be an issue in our relationship.
This. I'm somewhat experiencing the same thing in my relationship with my pregnancy. I don't even know how I ended up pregnant tbh.. It was the one time this year we actually did it that made it happen. 😅
Now it's even worse than it was before because if my hormones were making my smex drive nonexistent before.... it's ☠ AF now.
