Had the same thing happen to my m after going up a steep hill it didn’t slow down, replaced the shaft with an old one and was fine. Thank you for the video.
1/4 turn nose cone screws , old style seat . Nice project. If you need to get the flapper working on the distillate manifold, heat up and quench the cast iron with kerosene. Works wonders..
the carb is an easy part to replace. the machine has had a lot of work done already. Just pop in a new carb and go. be a shame to part out all that work and time already invested.
Definitely I’ve already started looking for the last few parts to make it right the carb is easy to install but finding the right one is harder than you would think I don’t want to spend multiple hundred dollars on a carb yet
I bet when someone had the carburetor off they didn't get that twang lined up with that s*** in the throttle plate in the throttle plate is wide open I don't think it's the governor at because that has happened to me one time when I put the carburetor back on and it slipped out of the notch
@@DrRust you can get them throttle shaft either way I rebuild a carburetor and intake it was a plastic throttle plate we're it fit onto the Governor shaft
Lots of new stuff and lots of old. VERY interesting. Blessings!
Excellent video - very informative…👍
Thanks

I think this is a cheap replacement carburetor because it should have been a brass slot not plastic

Sometimes I hate this phone but maybe you can understand what I said
