Love the new setup!! Office goals! Now more importantly regarding the Forza 300B....take my money!! Im so impressed with everything Nanlite is bringing out, its so epic!
Looks good. I’m currently running a Nanlite mixpanel 150 and 60 and have the forza 60b so I’m just looking for 1 large cob light to finish it off but I’ve been concerned about the fan noise. How loud is the fan noise on this please?
Thanks for watching and great setup you have! Once you start moving above 200w cob you have to cool them and this involves dans - no way to avoid it. The 300b benefits from being a 2nd gen fixture so is more refined a s quieter than the 300. With the head being separate to ballast you can put distance between the fans and subject. If shooting in a tight space you can turn the fan off you lose some power but in a tight space this isn’t an issue. When operating light like this most people will adopt new sound capture to avoid noise causing issues- laving and booming as opposed to shotgun capture. All these factors in my opinion combat any noise created. I’ve been on set and had alexas make more noise than a 300
Hello friend , Greetings from Serbia. I am thinking to buy 1 light but I cant afford it both. Should I buy forza 500 basic or forza 300 b + Soft box . I saw that Forza 500 v battery are to expensive I am not sure if forza 300 b Is chipper solution. I like Forza 300b Worm and cold color solution and you also get the remote. I am making video studio 7 meters x 4 meters , I want to use it inside for interviews and outside for documentary movies. What do you think is smarter to buy. What is your experience ? I 500 power important over 300 b ?
500 offers the power but 26v batteries cost and you need two. The 300 is a great option as it has power and is easy to run from 14.8v batteries. Yes the 300b is slightly less powerful but you have bicolour options which is handy for matching skin tones etc. if you want power 500 is the winner, to be versatile then 300b and also the 300b will work directly with the NANLINK app once the firmware is available. The 500 and 300 will both need the NANLINK box to control via app

Cheers mate!! We are trying
Only bare cob has any meaning for readings. I never use the reflectors, I always use with a fresnel or bare cob with barn doors.
thanks for watching and defo its the best way to use such a light for sure.
