They have made so many changes from the previous gen models that make such a significant difference in day to day workflow. I have a 720B but thinking of returning it for the 500 since it has the minus green adjustment. Like a lot of reviews, I don't know how powerful it is, because I judge most lights against the sun lite windows during an interview. The 720B worked well in that regard with a softbox, but I'm wonddering if the 500b has enough power for me to do the same.

Sorry just seeing this comment now! I gotta admit the +/- tint adjustment is really handy. The 720 definitely packs a good bit more power than the 500, and I'm thinking for your usage, it might not be strong enough. Your best bet would honestly be just rent the 500 and put them side by side to test them out, and really see what you need. 500B may only work in your regard with a Fresnel.
