As a Dual blades main, I like to make elemental focused sets. Activating Wolf's maw and just melting the monsters with all those effects is just so satisfying...
Solid as always. I just made Jho Cena last week, and since I use the Narg/Research Lance a lot already, I don’t super need sharpness +2; gonna give some of these other sets a try I think.
Something to keep in mind is how weak to Thunder element a lot of these sets can end up since Jho, Ceantaur, and SilverLos are all weak to it. Obviously that doesn't matter at all on non-Thunder mons, and practice and skill can allow a player to use these sets even against Thunder monsters but the average player should really think hard about how well they can realistically use these sets on stuff like Hyper Lagiacrus and high level Thunderlord and Boltreaver. Personally, I'm comfortable with the first two but Boltreaver has my number even after hundreds of hours and several clears of its EX versions...
I actually got Tenderizer+5 and Expert+10 just this morning. Only two slots though so I can't use the Deviant weapons... It took me roughly 2 days to get this.
I know its nothing super amazing, but the set im most proud of is a gunlance sat that uses any gunlance with 2-3 slots and is made of the agnaktor helm and chest and the rest of the pieces esurient XR it gets sharp+2 guard +2 guard up, artillery expert, and tropic hunter, the charm was a lucky find back in gen being an artillery+6 guard+5 3 slot
you know, having monster hunter (gu at that) info and having comedy too really feels like a fresh batch of tea, I only needed the first 5 seconds to realize how much of a great UA-camd you’d be to subscribe immediately, I hope to see more!!
I am playing this game after clocking over 400 hours on MHW and I am officially a fan of this franchise, this is my 2nd monster hunter game and I thought it was gonna be hard to play after world but I'm loving my experience so far!

I use the Jho Ceana set for my IG but i have Chain Crit instead of tenderizer, Critical eye +1, and crit boost reaching 85% affinity. I use a +2 chain crit ooo with +10 quicksheath (so thats cool). If i had a +6 chain crit ooo, I could have crit eye +2 and boost my affinity up to 95% with the affinity kinsect. Oh and I use the Absolute Ruiner Glaive.
Please continue making these, I'm still playing MHGU and need some outside perspective, since its difficult for me to find people to play with me in G Rank. Thank you sooooo much!!!
Esurient XR with a 1 slot weapon and a 6 000 critical: Gem Crit 3 into the talisman for crit boost 2 tenderizer 3 2 tenderizer 1 2 level 3 jewels 2 level 1 jewels (1 goes in weapon) You get Sharpness + 2 Crit Boost Weakness Exploit Any skill at + 10. So if you had a god charm, you could make the Jho Ceanataur set as a pure set as gemming in razor sharp with 2 3’s 2 1’s only loses you 6 handicraft and the pure set gives you 23 to work with. Esurient XR is just an all around great set. With a 1 slot weapon, you can get 2 skills up to + 10 and there are so many good skills that don’t have a +15/+20 tier.
Honestly, a build I'm working on is full silverwind, with grimclaw Sns, and hopefully I can get a charm with chain crit. My thought, based on my calcs, would be a 310 raw weapon with purple and 10% natural affinity get the 30% affinity boost from silverwind soul, another 30% from either Affinity oil or chaos oil depending on preference, and finally the last 30% from chain crit from doing the sns hunter art Swords dance. Then factoring in the crit boost from the armor, and you have a weapon with an effective raw of 603. Not bad for SNS.

Does anyone else hate how rarity never changes? Like litterally you'll have a G rank weapon but the rarity well never go past its intended rarity, honestly my biggest gripe with the game had to sort every weapon and armor peice separately so I could easily tell which was my good weapons
I was literally doing the coal quest hundreds of times to get a fast charge +5 triple slot and since I main GS you need that on every set you have back in gen and wearing the mantis set I have free focus.

If you've already downloaded the DLC quests (why wouldn't anyone? they're free to download and are permanently unlocked once you do so) there's a DLC quest named "URGENT: COAL MINERS NEEDED" that has a subquest to hunt a Brachydios that rewards a fuck ton of charms for completing it. Just know almost every hub for this just goes all HBG and blasts the shit out of it in record time, so you may need to play HBG for it.

I honestly don’t miss the +10/-10 skill set system. However, one thing I do miss with the skills in World are negative skills. Instead of getting +10 of -10, I wish they’d just straight up give you attack up but this piece also has increased stun, etc., etc. Working around the debuffs was part of the challenge pre-World. Now I feel way too OP in World. TL;DR: I want some of the old with the new.
I don't tbh. They hurt creativity and endgame variety. Working around negative skills wasn't a challenge, it was an annoyance, just like Awakened weapons. The *real* debuff was the slots you wasted fixing the problem. Nobody wants to deal with that crap. Might as well just give super strong gear fewer slots if it needs nerfing that badly.
I remember when my hunting group told me I had to fight silver rathalos to get some good armor. At first I was like ok it’s just a rathalos nothing too bad. How naive I was💀
Yes I'll admit it, I'm trash a the game, but can someone give me hints on going about beating hyper Jho. My damage is not good or Im not attacking enough for I lost the quest to time.
If it's defence you want I can recommend the Golden Lune Z set to start with. Comes with 820 def with "Prayer" which is Divine Blessing and Rec Up in one. Combined with light eater it means you can take serious punishment before running out of healing. I replaced the guantlets with the Fatalis Crimsonclaws XR since you still get prayer withouth the gloves and the crimson fatalis ones has Guts +8 allowing you to slot that in quite easily. Because despite having just over 850 defence (before eating) and divine blessing you'll still die quick to end game monsters.
I am trying to make the black fatalis set, it seems to have tons of DEF. I have the completely maxed out Lao-Shan Lung set with an armorcharm and armortalon. So give me some more pointers
@@yoyowithethan555 Well, the Ahtal-Ka weapons give +60 defense, which is the highest def given from a weapon. Plus the 3 slot makes it nice for sticking on an extra skill like razor sharp (which is what I do with that build I suggested, though it needs a sharpness +5 3 slot talis). If you plan on getting hit a lot then throwing in resentment (furor) can help with damage output (again that set also gives furor +8 so slotting it in isn't much hassle). Outside of survivability I'm not sure exactly what you're after, but hopefully that helps :)

Actually, i do my best to resembles ichigo's vastolorde in monster hunter, but, i'm still looking for the best long sword skill tree to built. Right now i have HG earplugs +15 Sharpener Mind's eye Prolong sp Mycology But i'm trying to recreate some sort of getsuga tenshou or a cool reiatsu effect. Any advice?
Critical Eye+3, Challenger+2, Weakness Exploit and Critical Boost with Rustrazor LS are recomended, but you can mix and match with most if not all sets in the video depending on your weapon of choice. You can Just transmog your looks so no need to match it with base armor

the Longsword is the Research Saber, its kinda difficult to know exactly what armor he was using

Critical Eye+3, Challenger+2, Weakness Exploit and Critical Boost with Rustrazor LS are recomended, but you can mix and match with most if not all sets in the video depending on your weapon of choice. You can Just transmog your looks so no need to match it with base armor
