Couple of points of advice: it's not a good idea to leave a door wide open when you walk out of the truck. And even worse habit to SET TRAILER brakes when you park, in the winter time one time you'll get off the wet road, set trailer brakes, they will freeze up, & you'll have a lot of "fun" trying to get them loose.

Yep! There's a reason why it says the tractor brakes are the parking brakes and the trailer brakes are well.. Trailer brakes.. Tractor brakes = parking. Trailer = dropping that mfer off.
Would be ok if he would just listen to everybody trying to help or atleast reply....i dont think he even reads comments anymore lol listen at the brakes when he lets off the brake pedal.....he almost busts the air chambers because he is standing on the brake pedal so hard lol
@tutie I've told him that before too, he was running low on air backing in to a dock, had to wait for air to build up.

Alex if they are already parked before you get there, you are correct "they" can't hit you, but since they are parked before you they most likely will leave before you opening yourself up to being hit when the next driver tries to back in during the middle of the night. Good Luck
You are so right about this....ive seen more frontends ripped off by trucks leaving spots than i have by trucks backing in.
Believe me every single day i'm facing this problem in parkings.... so many stupid drivers out there, thinking only about their own ass...

Why didn't you park In the pull thru spot?? And technically if your takin Jake's to lowest setting and driving 50 mph maybe you should know your also not supposed to use Jake's at all in rainy or snowy conditions
Even going down a steep hill on dry pavement, I've been told by my company that the lowest level (3rd) of Engine Braking is "too hot" and should be avoided.
Always make sure your doors are completely latched when you leave a dock were they open doors from inside don't trust no one Always double check
They going to cut the seal and open the door the designed the dock and door that way. My company terminal are design the same way.

What’s the speed limit on most interstates in the US? I saw a video the other night with a guy in a truck doing 90mph on cruise being rounded up by 4 livestock trucks. All trucks in Aus are limited to 100kph/62mph

She told me she was scared of the tanker blowing up. I told her if it blew up, our 150,000 litres would go with it, and we’d take half the town with us.

19:00 uhhhh no? Why you going on sleeper lmao. You're on the clock, you should be in on duty status even if you decide to take a nap. You need to be getting paid while being unloaded or loaded. Just how it works.
He gets paid by the mile. His paycheck for load was already decided pending any penalties or delay pay.
Wrong - he can be in an off duty / sleeper status parked at a dock… if he’s helping unload, which will never happen, THEN he’d need to be on duty… Time management is everything when you’re paid CPM.
@@MythLeatherCo He broke the law when he logged Sleeper then stepped outside the truck. It clearly states in the Code of Federal Regulations that the log book has to be true correct and current. If he gets into a fatality crash, any lawyer will present this in court and GPTransco along with Alex will be sued and suffer a nuclear verdict.
Yeah wrong. You can be in sleeper birth in a dock as long as you aren't doing anything and actually relaxing
@@evand8682 But you have to be legally physically inside the sleeper berth; you cannot be physically outside the sleeper and especially filming yourself breaking the regulation. That is called Logbook Falsification. Under CSA it carries violation points for the driver and motor carrier as well. If his company was smart they would send down a memo immediately banning all filming while operating company equipment and at customers.

I can only fuel at loves or a terminal. I have no issue keeping my fuel tank filled and getting a shower free daily. After so many gallons fueled you get platinum status for a month too, which gives unlimited free showers.

@@Commy01 yeah, I caught that after replying. You are correct only getting 50 gallons is a dangerous game. I top off my tank whenever I fuel up. I also drive myself out of hours each night so I use more fuel. and am home over the weekends, which means I only have to take 4-5 showers on the road to get one each day. So far he seems to be doing alright though.
Yeah that one's gonna bite him in the ass by his company. Once they get into the whole "you must fuel at this specific Love's unless otherwise specified" train he's going to lose his mind. I use pilot app because that's the company mine uses and yeah I've hit what they call "shower power" pretty much every month. And that's a thousand gallons per month.

Minster, OH is where my best friend used to live while growing-up in the 1970s. He passed away years ago and I still think of him often.
Also, Ohio is deceptive in that it's a pretty wide state and takes quite a while to traverse. I used to drive truck to Cleveland and Copley, OH like 3 times per week from south of Chicago and it would definitely feel like I've driven 'far' when it wasn't.

Unlimited in the following month for platinum and diamond, I believe. Gold doesn't get unlimited. And sometimes you just don't make the requirements for the number of gallons.
