This channel has a lot of fans; but it also has some haters who play the backseat youtube driver and complain non stop. What's interesting, these people keep coming back to watch the videos and proceed to complain. All I can say is this channel is about to hit 1 million subscribers for a reason so Alex is clearly doing something right.
There are just complainers. My brother in-law has an aunt that does that. He is the only on that will talk to her

I believe some folks have a problem with others being happy and content in life. As for me I find Alex trucking videos relaxing even when sometimes he experiences stressful situations. Now I've never seen mr.alex check the blinker fluid at pre check 😂

Tip of the day. Don't back up on a dock with a red light. You're lucky you didn't ruin the dock or your trailer.
Well, When you don't have an hourly pay installed, Too many mistakes happen and drivers can't think is clear when they're paid piecework like mileage pay only.
Do many mistakes happen that way, Because the driver can't relax.

Your are at the south end of seneca lake off state route 14, I drive past that waterfall everyday. Lots of falls in that area
You need to get that check engine light addressed. Dot can put you out of service for that.

sliding your tandems is to make the back of the trailer less of a spring board when they're driving over the transition with a pallet on the forks, if the tandems are up, it's extremely bouncy and could possibly tip the load off the pallet.

Well gotta start paying these guys hourly so they can take the time to think things out a little bit better.
When you're paid piece work, It's more difficult to relax and take your time.
If it's not salary or it's not hourly,it's not safe.

Cargill in Watkins Glen, that place was quite the experience for me. Ran out of drive time and had to park by that waterfall you saw. Was stressing all night 😂
I just searched "Falls Motel" on Google Earth. It's about half between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, on the NY side, near Niagra Falls.
You're in montour falls,ny on hwy 14. Two falls there. That was either aunt sarah falls or shequaga falls. The latter was the one closest to the falls motel. Theres some very nice scenery up there.
Alex you're in upstate NY in horseheads maybe. Upstate NY is easy and beautiful this time of year. Dont sweat it. And im not aware of any snow storm going up there. Idk what that guy is smoking. At this time of year it should only be rain. Check the weather channel radar.

When I ran equipment all day long after few days I would hear back-up horn in my sleep. Specially if on a dozer or loader all day long.
Word of advice Alex keep your trailer brakes in .Ive seen your recent vids and youre always saying youre running out air.i drive a 2024 t680 too .

From a quick search, it looks like it's Aunt Sarah’s Falls in Watkin's Glen. The lake you are by in that part of the video is Seneca Lake.
I believe the town he's talking about in the beginning is called horseheads, ny, it's south of Watkins Glen.

Breakdowns happen, But a lot of these guys end up going to the shop, Then they get stuck there for hours,unpaid.
I don't like that, and I never did like that, My guys were paid to do everything, From their pre-and post trip inspections, Fueling the truck, And unloading the truck.
I planned and dispatched for 10 years, And I drove for 24 years.
Sorry, The guys that are out there doing things for free are being used and abused....
And yes it's been going on far too long.
Back prior to 1980, Many drivers and independents build enough money to their customers to make sure their butts were covered in all their downtime.
All I see today is 62 cents a mile and that's it nothing else.
