As much as I like this game, there are very few things I can say are legitimate improvements over previous games, namely 4. The only things that are really better are: 1. The infinite ammo reward for fully upgrading weapons which implements the time-attack feature of the original games with its sub-5 hour requirement. 2. The level select ability which should've been a thing with 4 since that changed the game to a chapter structure. 3. The Hydra as that is a absurdly great weapon you can get. 4. The perfected partner mechanic brought back from 0 with, admittedly new problems, but solving all of the original problems with the action oriented gameplay. Otherwise it's lesser in every way like certain weapons getting a severe downgrade like the handcannon, the mercenaries mode being worse with a multi-player oriented style that doesn't work when you are forced to stop in place to fire which is the least of that mode's problems, and the pacing and level design being really bad at times. Especially in single player on higher difficulties. The problems everyone typically has never were a problem with me. The partner AI was typically pretty good. (Give them 2 weapons, 1 of a different type with some the respective ammo, and a healing item or 2, and grenades, with you doing the same inventory but handling the other weapon types and you'll be fine.) And the inventory, though more cumbersome than previous games works well considering its meant for 2 players going simultaneously.

Imagine Whenever A Boss Is Low You Will Be Asked To Press 'O' In Order To Finish The Boss And After You Come Closer And Press 'O' , You Will Be In A Cutscene Where It Shows You Yourself Attacking The Boss To It's Death And While Attacking In Cutscene You Will Be Asked To Press Various Random Buttons To Attack
Okay from what I saw the game has an honest but outdated philosophy. Resident Evil is great at Gun and slash venting but that one deep story maybe something that's happened already but to have that I Am Legend film esque redemption I think they could do in atleast 1 game
