This and RE6 is the only Resident Evil series that turn more into action rather than survival horror theme.
Re4 too , it's actually the beginning of that in the series
RE5 was actually really fun though and they balanced it out, plus the story was really engaging. RE6 felt like waaaaaaay to much of a departure, it was trying too hard to be like Call of Duty
And both are as shit as each other

IDKY people didn't like it when it came out. I always thought RE5 was awesome!
people kept saying it was being racist because the africans were making monkey sounds. but its still an awesome masterpiece, the best Resident Evil game carrying good characters who should've returned. (Sheva, Josh, and especially Jill)
