I always assumed due to in game evidence that the villa,s crappy design was intended by sinclair. I mean: he known the "secret" experiments from Big MT and to me the Red mist, the Holographic security and the villa its part of a defence layer mechanism to me: We have in one of the terminals that cars such as the chryslus could not operate inside the villa,s narrow streets, this also means by extension that other vehicles such as tanks or Apc could not work in optimal conditions so an enemy take over its more difficult. Second the villa,s crappy design would make that moving there would be difficult wich would be also make impossible even with NBQ equipment because the cloud melts the things themselves. And actually the mist works as visual concealment from aerial or satellite surveillance, it has a similar color palette to the canyon and sandy rocks in wich is emplaced, and it is in some places extremely dense and also self replicating. What other system we have also in the mojave wich works similarly? We have the artificial storms from the weather machine of the divide wich maybe where made for concealment and also the actual sand storm system of hidden valley wich works with ventilators like the ones of the Sierra madre. To me synclair it's just like house: both created bastions disguised as casinos but employing military grade technology. In the case of house to work as an antennae and anti air tower In the case of synclair as a dead,s hand protocol system to make the Sierra madre look or abandoned or camouflaged. And the crappy construction of the villa works perfectly just for doing that. Sorry in advance for my bad English
I like this observation. Also your english is pretty good, only a few hints that it wasn't your first language. Just to help out a little, it is which instead of wich; and ' for showing possesion not ,
A big salute to everyone of the Fallout universe keeping such comprehensive terminal notes about everything they thought and did before the war. Very helpful.
How do the Ghost People stay alive sealed inside those suits? How do they eat, drink, breathe, shtako or anything? How did the courier before you know about the Platinum Chip? And where do all these damn Fresh Apples come from?!?
The ghost people are long dead. The suits are prototypes from Big MT, as you can get a copy of that suit in the OWB dlc. They are prototypes of the trauma harness suits, I am sure you can find that info in a terminal in OWB. The courier before you, Ulysses, is a frumentari under Caesar, he knows many things as his main job is to spy on the west. So he knows how to look into issues, it wasn't hard for him to piece together that the chip was supposed to be delivered to House. Ulysses didn't take the job because of the history he shared with the main character, and hoped the mojave would get the main character killed, or even the Divide. Fresh apples, pears, carrots and potatoes for example are foods that still grow in the wasteland. Hildern in camp McCarran specifies also oranges/peaches, so many things in the wasteland didn't get mutated (like mutfruit, which looks like mutated berries) and can still be grown. For the lack of apple trees or other fruit gardens, we can look at the caravans as sources that bring the fruits from areas where they grow
I always thought "Mr. Yesterday" was Dean Domino and that nickname was either a codename or people calling him a has-been. However, like the meaning of "kale watcha nei conserva oh", Mr. Yesterday's true identity is probably meant to be a mystery that only JE Sawyer has the answers to.
Hey a completely unrelated question but one I’ve been trying to get an answer on, from Fallout 1, where are Albert and Natalia’s last names established or become known? On the character selection it only mentions their first names, but their last names seem so openly known and I’m curious where people know their last names from (I haven’t played Fallout 1, to clarify)

As an architect, construction fraud is a major problem in the building industry. In the bidding process, contractors bid against one another to see who can build the project to the architects’ specifications for the lowest price to the owner. The owner will usually select the contractor who can build for the lowest cost, but that cost is still set by the contractor. It is then left up to the architect to ensure that the quality of work and materials is still being met during construction while the contractor is incentivized to cut as many corners as they can without getting caught for fraud. Usually all three parties want to provide quality work and fair payment as their reputation is worth more than a quick payout for shoddy work. But sometimes you do see schemers who try to rip off the owners. In the rampantly corrupt capitalist society of Old World Fallout, construction fraud is the default.
