- Is there a CUSTOMIZABLE SKINCARE THATS BETTER THAN CUROLOGY? UMM... YES THERE IS!!!!! Look, Cuology didn't work for me and I know I'm not the only one who had a similar experience. So, this video for those of you in the same boat as me and maybe someone who is looking for an alternative customizable skincare products to fit into your routine. Most people try Curology due to acne ranging from small breakouts to severe cystic acne. Personally, I had moderate acne that felt painful and swollen AND Curology made it worse. I watched so many Curology reviews before purchasing it I really felt it would cure my acne. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. BUT, I can now say I swear by my newest CUSTOMIZABLE SKINCARE REGIMEN. KEEP WATCHING TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THESE PRODUCTS ARE!!!!

That's not true I've used Curology and you don't have to continue to receive all three products. You can remove every thing except the treatment. I believe it's under your Treatment or it might be under upcoming Shipment. I saw it when I switched the moisturizer that I was using.
Exactly. After the first month I began only being the actual formula, not the moisturizer and cleanser, it's only 40$ for 2 months that way, instead of 60$
Yep!! Add and removed products, and skip shipment before been charged and cancel on time if u want to
I agree my dem help find product to use as a replacement and suggestion for my skin such as sunscreen with moisturizer. I don't use curology moisturizer often because my face feels too oily. Tge medicine don't even tone that why she suggested toner in range if prices

I'm quitting Curology after 2 years. Minimal results aren't worth the $$$. Update - switched to NURX and got plain old tretinoin .05%. Saw an immediate improvement.
I use FAB as well for 6 weeks now and my skin is super clear! I used products for normal skin, with “minimize pores”, “minimize redness” and “reduce breakouts” and although my skin is quite sensitive I can use all the products twice a day without problems. The only thing I would change maybe is my skin type towards dry skin because I still have dry patches along my nose... I’m getting married this summer so I’m really happy with how my skin looks at this moment and I hope I can keep this up

You don't have to buy all 3 curology products. The only one mandatory is The treatment. ALSO function of beauty doesn't offer tretinoin. 120 for basic items it's a bit expensive. Niacinamides salicylic acid HA acid are basic cheap ingredients.
Curology is like $82 for 2 MONTHS

You said it perfectly. I've been using Curology for around 2 years. This creator has misstated so many things about them!
I absolutely LOVE FoB for haircare and have not used anything else for the past year and a half (aside from curly styling products), but the ridiculously high cost of their skincare is unacceptable to me personally. I'm glad it works for you, though.

I used curology for 2 weeks because there is a little dark spot on my face and now I hate looking at the mirror cuz I have dead skin on my face when I start applying curology and a lot of dark spots curology didn’t work for me if you want to try it go ahead it might work for.

It depends how long you've tried it. My skin got worse for 6 weeks, asked about it, then they told me to keep going for another 2 weeks until I saw results. I'M SO GLAD I DID! I had more of a blackhead, Keratosis pilaris, scares, and uneven skin & texture issues. After 8 weeks my skin was more perfect than I ever thought it could be. I still get compliments to this day.
I use Musley and will say that it works better then Roc retinol and also the HA combined that has peptides I was previously using. The night cream has Tretinoin which is prescription retinol, HA, Niacinamide, etc. Amazing. I noticed results in 2-3 days. BUT FIY Musley has the strong retinol and I chose the highest 0.1 Tretinoin. It's pricey so I may just try to get a prescription of Tretinoin from the Dr but at this point I am certainly increased with Musley. I just wish the price was a bit less. $80 for a 2 month supply but I use more then a pea size so it lasts about 6 weeks.
Sorry but Curology is the GOAT and I've tried both Curology and Apostrophe. I love the trifecta that Curology prescribes and that a Derm individualized each treatment. Tretinoin can be severely irritating to your skin so it's all about using the right cleanser and moisturizer during treatment. There isnt a single moisturizer that is prescribed that you cannot get over the counter. The whole point of Curology is to get things that can only be prescribed, like Tretinoin. So...your whole video misses the point completely.

I hate a bad experience with curology as well
I used for Curology for ~ 2 years. My skin got worse before it got better, but I did have a10 month span where my skin was beautiful, was loving Curology! After about 10 months of clear skin, I had about a year of break outs again :( even asked my provider to switch up my formula because something wasn't working. After being patient for a few more months, there was little improvement. Canceling curology - results not worth the price.
i’ve actually recently tried FOB skincare, and my skin has been breaking out and i’ve been experiencing redness and sensitivity on my cheeks. i think this is my fault though, because i am usually not sensitive to fragrance so i chose the fragranced option, but i think that’s what broke me out. i might give them another try though.

You cannot use tretinion eveyday if you have never used it before!! FOB uses cheap ingredients for the price they charge. My son uses tretinion prescribed from his dermatologist and he's clear now. Took months to lead up to using 3 times a week.
All of the Function of Beauty ingredients are sold over-the-counter, so not sure why they are charging such high prices. Curology offers prescription ingredients and costs less. Just a few corrections to your video: You don't need to order the full routine from Curology. You can order JUST the treatment. You get one free consultation with Curology per month.

Sorry about your bed experience, but you are not the usual.
I have had no such experience.
And, I think that the sensitivities to foods and perhaps some ingredients might have been a factor.
Also, everyone should know that you are NOT getting any products with Tretinoin if there is no licensed medical provider.
I know one person who's skin reacted in a negative way to Proactive, where contains a similar Tretinion type retinol.
I have used the same ingredient in Differing, with absolutely no problems!
NOTE: the Rx formula you get from Curology is not formulated for Hydration.
They probably also offer a hydrating facial moisturizer separately.
There are million simple hydrating facial moisturizers right at any skin care counter or pharmacy aisle.
I am SO glad that whatever the underlying issues were, your skin is much better!!!!
Sometimes there are different approaches for different skin concerns, and different individuals.
Curology uses retinoids whereas this seems to be salicylic acid which is not a gold standard. I think even plain old retinol ould be better. You also don't need to purchase all the products for curology.
Do you still use the Ordinary and Glow recipe? I am just coming across your Channel and I’m trying to do a new skin routine. I liked all the info on The Ordinary video and Glow Recipe. I was wondering what that routine looked like. Do you prefer Function over these others?? Sorry so many questions.
I honestly use all 3 as needed. There’s is a few products from each brand that are staples in my skincare routine currently. I have a skincare routine video coming soon! 😍

Is FOB cruelty free? I know curology is and that is why I refuse to go elsewhere for now because I don’t know anything else that works this good and cruelty free.
You can switch to Agency the sister brand of curology if you are looking for anti-aging.
What heat protection do you use for your hair? Love the videos btw great editing
Thank you! I do not use any heat protection. If you watch a few of my hair care related videos, you’d know, I only use function of beauty hair care and I only wash and style my hair every 4-7 days. But, function of beauty does offer a “heat protection” goal to add into their products. I haven’t tried it yet. I hope this helps:)

Yes! I still use glow recipe combined with the FOB products. I Love using the watermelon glow is sleeping mask on top of the moisturizer

@@melanielee4777 if you do not use one. your skin will be extremely sensitive due to sun exposure while using these active ingredients at some point or another. Not to mention the rapid ageing possibly worsening of acne due to irritation using those ingredients and being out in the sun. I learned this from dermatologist here on youtube dr dray. You should check her out.
