Funny how emotional this video made me. When I was his age, I had also bad facial acne and was made fun of because of it. I didn't have anyone's support or advice to rely on, so I did a bunch of research myself and it was a very long and solo journey, which of course, made me feel alone. Yiannis was brave enough to post himself online and was open to criticism, only to be welcomed by a bunch of supportive guys posting positive comments and giving him genuine advice. He might not ever meet these people, but they all took a moment of their day to help him out. Wow.
    How times have changed.

My grandmother always cooks my food
One time I came early from school, she was making pasta, and I saw her in front of my eyes put some spreadable butter shit in there
I try to be very self-conscious about my diet, but I'm convinced that my grandmother puts some like seed oil in there
She uses olive oil a lot, but yea bro after this video I dont even know what to think anymore
I'm the guy in the post for anyone who's wondering.

I used to have a lot of pimples because I had very oily skin, but then I got rid of it with the use of baby powder. Just put some of that stuff on the spots where you usually have pimples, you will immediately notice that the spot becomes dry and the oilyness disappears. And after 5 days you just don't get these pimples anymore. I do it in the evening, before going to bed and sometimes in the morning.
Disclaimer is: Don't ever inhale the baby powder, put it on your hand first, and then apply it to the spots. But you're not supposed to breathe it in for longer periods of time.

Very good video, I struggled with acne all my life and spent hundreds of dollars on skin care. How I see it is skin care is like the icing on the cake but not fixing your diet is like building the walls of a house without the support beams. 90% of people’s skin problems will be solved from eating the right foods and doing the basics like washing your face daily.

MY COMPLETE ACNE GUIDE(sorry its kinda long)
What really helped my acne was learning that your gut health and skin health are directly related. Your gut includes your stomach, intestines, and colon. It helps to process and absorb nutrients to your body through the gut microbiome(mix of good and bad bacteria). Essentially, if you have a lot of bad bacteria, your gut becomes inflamed which can cause your skin to do so as well. The goal is to limit the bad bacteria, and increase/sustain the good bacteria in your gut. Do some extended research on your own, but here is a summary of what really helped me.
    Principles:
    - If you've tried external sources with minimal results, your acne is likely internal.
    - Therefore, only use light facial cleansers, natural moisturizers(aloe vera gel Jason brand is a really good one), and use a facial sunscreen(helps with dark spots)
    Things to avoid:
    - Highly processed carbs
    - Highly processed sugars
    - Foods that cause inflammation of the gut(sugar is a big one, these are foods that feed bad bacteria and cause them to grow)
    Things you should do:
    - Take probiotics(good bacteria) daily, this is HUGE(yogurt, kombucha, kimchi, or supplements(best option if you have the money))
    - Take prebiotics(food for that feeds the good bacteria, these help to reduce inflammation), these include fruits/vegetables, beans. Really anything that's high in fiber
    - Eat foods high in omega 3s(any type of fish is really good)
    - Eat foods high in vitamin A(Carrots, eggs, greens)
    - Eat foods with collagen: collagen is what your nails and skin are made of(chicken broth, or a supplement are both good options
    - Drink LOTS of water
    - Exercise regularly
    - Silk pillowcase/clean your pillowcase frequently
    -Don't pop/pick at your face
-Only touch your face after washing your hands, your hands are literally one of the most dirty things to exist
    TLDR:
If you improve your gut health, your skin health will follow. You don't have to do all of these at once, but if you slowly start to change your lifestyle to adjust, your skin will love you.
    Hope this helps!!

The diet advice is so true. I switched to carnivore diet with the addition of some fruit, berries, etc around 1 month ago. I was doing well until about last weekend when I got a little lazy and had some shit carbs (bread, donut, chocolate). Even though it wasn't a lot of shit food, the difference in my acne the day after was night and day. My skin looked the best it had ever since having acne problems on the carnivore diet and it broke out almost immediately after I ate carbs.

Interesting side affect of the carnivore diet that I've personally experienced: 2.5x the rate of healing. One time, I bashed my knee incredibly hard into a wall, it swelled up immensely. I expected that it would be a week until I could walk comfortably. It took two days.
When I train high landings, my feet usually get sore a reliable amount for about a day and a half. On carnivore, it doesn't even take a day for me to feel like it didn't happen. Additionally, I usually give myself about two days to recover from the gym. The diet cuts it down to a little more than a single day.

Do you think milk might be another contributer to acne? I personally noticed that my skin got better in time periods of me not consuming milk, but I am still not sure whether or not go give up milk since it is a great source of bulking and I am not 100% sure of its effects on acne. (I especially think it is relevant for acne, due to the immense amount of growth hormones fed to cows to get them producing milk earlier and the fact that milk in it selfe is supposed to be feed to their infants who should be growing from consuming their mothers milk.)

My mother is brown and she hates seed oils she only uses ghee or animal fat to cook we only drink full fat milk and only use full fat butter and my parents made sure that i NEVER ate sugar until i was two years old, which is crazy to think about when you realise that they put sugar in fucking everything.(we live in the countryside in scotland and have a lot of meat in our diets and we even make our own fucking bread, I have never even been to McDonalds or eaten from there in my life)

I can agree with reducing your intake of grains, especially processed breads. If you live in America where the bread has enough sugar to be counted as cake, I can definitely see this advice being good.
However, I’m sorry, but our “ancestors” you talk about have been eating rice for 3000-4000 years in Asia and grain in general in ancient Egypt and Rome, cultivating and eating grains like wheat and the predecessors to wheat for 10,000 or more years. Pretty much as soon as we stopped being stupid cavemen and developed civilisations we have eaten grains. Even the Aboriginal peoples of Australia who are the oldest group of people in the world, living 50-65,000 years ago (or even exceeding 100,000 years, depending on who you ask), grew grains and ate them in the form of bread. One of the most well known foods they ate for thousands of years is a type of bread called damper.
Of course, no group of people are a diet which mainly or significantly consisted of grains, Egyptians had vegetables and dairy, Romans ate bread AND fish, dairy and vegetables, Aboriginals ate bush-tucker(berries and other edible parts of plants) and meat and Asians ate rice AND meat and vegetables.
Hamza is uneducated in what he is saying or at least not telling the right narrative. Reduce grains, particularly processed and overly sugary ones, but you don’t need to cut them out entirely. You can eat them occasionally or, if they are clean, alongside other good foods like meat, vegetables, eggs, nuts, etc.
Sorry for the long comment, this is not a diss at Hamza, just make sure you have your own opinions and research on what he says before you take it on. He is great for new perspectives you may not have though of, just don’t take everything he says as gospel, especially with how he can be inconsistent on what he says/believes.

great advice for those having problem with this. However, this might not be the best best diet for all people. For people bulking on a diet, rice and pasta could be better high calorie options. If I didn't have clear skin though, I would take this video to heart (as well as advice from Dr. Eric Berg, Kaal Raam etc). Remember, about 70-80% of our immune function resides in the gut, so what you eat and what ends up in your stomach matters (as well as your mouth, use tongue scrapers and brush 2+ times a day!)

My parents are a limiting factor to my aesthetics. I can't go to the dentist to get white teeth because they said so, I can't buy any skincare product because they said that I have to talk with a dermatologist, but they never take me to one dermatologist. They don't buy me creatine because it is a "steroid" for them. Sometimes They don't buy me enough food, so when I come back from school I have to go to the nearest supermarket to buy healthy high calorie foods like cheese without them knowing. I can't get a clean haircut every 2 weeks because it is "expensive" (it only costs 11 euros and they buy everything my sister wants). What can I do to improve my looks at home?

    • @improrist3710
      @improrist3710 5 місяців тому

Tell your parents that you wanna talk seriously about something with them and they should sit down with you. Then you tell them what you want and try to convince them. Show them studies that underline your arguments, etc. and try to find with them the cheapest, best option if your family does not have any money. Show them that you are ambitious, etc. I am sure they want the best for you, but just follow the normal curriculum. Communication is important. If that is not working and your parents are just stubborn, then you have to accept it and wait til you can make your own decisions. Til then do not waste your mental capacities for that, because you can not change it

I now got a question because you said in the video that you would recommend for people to eat very clean and rather havbe a carnivore diet. But isn't it also pretty expensive to eat so much meat and just eat only clean week after week after week? Or am i just thinking that it is so expensive because it is healthy, im not really informed when it comes to stuff like a carnivore diet or smth so i just wanted to ask.

Acne: drink cold water; Wash your face with warm-hot water, minimize on face wash (I literally just use rubbing alcohol, you can do that or use the alcohol pads) and then wait 5ish minutes, wash your face with cold water to end it (those face scrubs are pretty useful throughout this); change pillows case and sheets every 4-7 days; diet like hamza said; take a short shower at night (3 minutes warm first, 3 minutes cold to finish); take the “real shower” in the morning (5 minutes warm, 10 minutes cold). Hope this helps 🙏

Hamza, I think you're definitely on the right track with your diet, but it sounds like you're overseeing something really important about meat. If you only eat muscle meats you're not going to get as much glycine as you need, which is super important, so look into that!
Try adding more organ meats/bone meats to your diet or just supplement it with bone broth or gelatin.
Also bone broth/gelatin is a literally heals your gut, gives you better skin, hair, nails and we basically need it for collagen production unless you're eating enough organs and collagenous meats, so that's also a good tip for looksmaxxing.

How do I start a healthy diet?
I'm 16 and have a bad acne. I'm fit, work out 5 times a week and don't take any creatine, proteine powder edc. I have been struggling with acne for a few years now. I have a quite attractive face in my opinion, good hairline and jawline and just the proportions of my face are quite nice. Only thing ruining that is my acne. Because of that, I have cut off basically all sugary foods and tried not to eat any fast food either, it hasn't really worked for me. I do have a skincare routine but that has made it maybe a bit better, nothing very significant.
I want to try a diet hamza has suggested. I wouldn't be going full carnivore but maybe all I would be eating is: Nuts, vegetables, fruits, butter, meat, salt, milk.
My mother cooks the foods everyone's moms do, dumplings, fries, soups, meat and potatoes, edc. So I basically don't eat very "dirty" food but still sometimes those processed foods like fries and fish sticks and edc. I wouldn't want to eat them but I just eat whatever my mom cooks, I know she doesn't want anything bad for me but she like basically anyone else doesn't know anything about healthy foods and diet.
Now, I don't really know how to implement this type of diet to my life. How do I randomly say to my mother, father and brother that from now on I won't be eating anything you guys cook for me. If I want to implement it, I will have to learn to cook meat and stuff but Ill learn it, that's not the problem.
My problem is that I don't, like I clarified earlier, know how to implement it and make my family be okay with it. They probably would think that the diet I wanna implement isn't healthy because there's just so little ingredient's and I don't know If I wanna try to explain to my parents that they have an awful diet and they have been eating it for their whole life.
Please I just want advice, because I just wanna look in the mirror and be happy about what I see.
