I just found your workouts about a week ago. I have done a few videos everyday since. I am 61 from Alberta and workout with my old puppy Jeremy who is 14!,
I was looking for short videos that I could, hopefully, get my 90-year-old mother to do to strengthen her body after a bad fall. That is when I came across your site and I watched a few. I think they are perfect. We had just done a couple videos when my Mom started experiencing breathing problems, which turned out to be a blood clot in both lungs. She is currently in the hospital getting treatment. One thing I discovered during this process is that I need a lot of body strength to assist her with daily tasks. I have lost a lot of weight over the last 6 years and I do a lot of walking, but not so much other strength exercises. I have started doing one of your videos each day to help me get going in the morning and to work on my weaker areas. Thanks for such a great series.
Just found your videos for seniors. I am 72, female, obese, and large stomach. I'm looking forward to trying each of your videos, since I just learned how to get them to run on my TV. Now I'm excited to get started.
I'm doing this for all 3 reasons except the first being hip pain as opposed to back pain as I find your core exercises help. I don't have osteoporosis but osteopenia and an following the exercises for people who don't have osteoporosis.
After a livertransplant, my core is weak, being cut side to side, I'm in a weakened state. I feel every movement. Hope to continue to regain my life, strength and health. Thank you
I listened because have a very tense protruding belly, also i am sitting but, i made movements today that added pains on my sides i have too hard if a time getting up from sitting u. am hoping for a good tip from you
To be honest l find the type of exercising that you do much easier for me as l have had problems with my back (and weight) and l struggle to motivate myself but watching and doing your videos is just so easy to fit in before and after work......and l have arthristis in my back and knees so this type of exercise is really easy.......
Sometimes when bending down to tie shoes or put on boots, I pull a muscle in my abdomen. Then I have to stand up and stretch to relieve tight cramp. I feel if I had stronger ab muscles, this wouldn’t happen. Thanks so much for these exercises!😊
Back, Balance, and Belt and an upcoming trip to a hilly place. I need to improve my heath to be able to walk up/down the steep hill where I'll be staying. Thank you
Hi - My name is Tina. From Knox, IN. I have been doing a few of your exercises for one week and just found this one. I need to get more balanced and want a tighter stomach. I do enjoy that I can do several depending on my strength for the day. I must get stronger so I can walk and hike and not be so wobbly. Thank You.
I have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. But it's ok I am improving my Arthritis by exercising. When I am doing planck I feel tighten my stomach muscles so just want smooth my muscles that's why I click this video but I saw some useful movements so I will definitely add in my excercise pattern thank you❤
Leamington Ontario - here for all 3 reasons. Unfortunately, at this time I can only do leg portion on one side as I get groin pain one the other side! Otherwise, this is great😀
I think it’s # 2. I have bad knees and lower back. I have found my balance becoming worse and worse. I am starting this to strengthen my core but also starting your other videos for people over 50 to help with flexibility and strength.
This is the 2nd video of yours that I am watching this morning (it's morning here in Israel 🇮🇱). Mind you, I'm not yet doing the actual exercises yet, just introducing myself to your videos 😊. So far, I really like your simple explanations of the exercise positions. When I was much younger I exercised fairly regularly, but that was then. I am now 76, and after 4 falls and one car accident several years ago, I do not exercise at all (or barely). I am very overweight and need to lose weight and strengthen my muscles, but I'm looking for a routine that can work with obesity, multiple torn tendons, osteoarthritis, weak muscles and Fibromyalgia. Thank you for your attention to seniors who search to increase their strength, balance and overall quality of life!
Hi Orah, thanks for watching 😊 🙏 Sorry to hear about your health. I hope you can get started slowly with some gentle stretches. I have lots of seated exercise videos on my channel that may help you get started. Take care!
I discovered one of your videos a couple weeks ago. I keep coming back for additional videos( and repeats) because they fit my need for motivation and guidance be exercising and moving more, every day. First and foremost in importance to me is a friendly ambiance, which you create perfectly, that makes me want to 'check in' often. You are a wonderful teacher, keeping things relaxed, accessible, and clear. I like your bright, uncluttered, tasteful setting. ' Fit' Finley provides a valuable, soothing presence! I am finding a lot of variety of movements in your collection, and this is what I wish to find, because I know every muscle needs to be used in order to stay viable! **I DEEPLY APPRECIATE YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING, MEG**
I was looking for core exercises to relieve cramping due to constipation. I am flexible and walk a lot but walking does not help so I looked a little farther and found your video.
I am 71 years old and have always been quite active, exercising around 3 times a week, but recently contracted a hip thigh problem after a 3 week bout of bronchitis, where I couldn't do anything and this has prevented me from doing what I usually do, so I found these exercises very good. I did this one following the couch exercises, straight after each other and found it very good. I'm watching from Brisbane, Australia. Thank you 🙏❤️ PS. I need to do it for Belt 😀
I was going to the gym 3 times a week and then I had major abdominal surgery and since then I've been struggling to exercise again. I saw an ad for sofa yoga and that led me to UA-cam and your videos. They are exactly what I needed. I did 3 of them at one time and will definitely look for more. I find that I can do some of the more difficult versions that you recommend and that is definitely an incentive to do more. Thanks for making these videos.
Have started exercising after having back and hip problems for some time and this is really helping me get motivation and moving more freely. I'm from the UK 😊😊 thank for these videos x
This is my second video of yours tonight. :) I would say I do core exercises for both my back and my belt. My lower back has been an issue since I was very young and had a really bad fall off of a fence. (I didn't learn anything from it because I fell from the same fence a few months later). So, back exercises are important for me. Like anyone, I want to reduce my tummy a bit. I'm not overweight according to my BMI but I would like a more defined core. Thank you for all you do!
Hi Meg and Finley!!after 4c~sections my stomach isn't flat:(these I know will help as do all your exercises, and yes I have constant back pain and I'm a fall risk....Thanx Meg💖

Belt & Back, I’ve always been overweight and the last few years I have 4 collapsed discs and sciatic nerve pain. Years ago took a couple bad falls on ice so don’t know if that contributed to back problems.
I am 20 months postpartum after having twin boys although my tummy is flat now my tummy muscles re not back to normal yet my tummy looking weird although is flat pls any advice
I want strong core muscles to protect my back/ get up off the floor easier; it's healthier to have a flatter middle and you look better in your clothes w a flat abdomen
I am a 74year old man who has been a lifelong crossdresser and I want to get my waist down to 34 inches so I can wear that little black dress and a nice red sheath dress. I am quite fit but I need that extra ooomph to get where I want to be. Thank you!
