I actually never noticed that we started with 5 coins in VS mode until this video, I assumed it was 0 on every mode.
It’s 0-5 depending on the placement you get in the race prior. 1-2 gives 0, 3-4 gives 1 etc.

That challenge is very hard in my opinion, as there are item boxes and coins everywhere on the track.

Isn’t it possible tos squeeze in between 2 itemboxes? I swear that happened to me quite a couple of times. Maybe it’s because I use a smaller combo
