Thanks for watching good people! Can't say it enough. I hope this helps some of you in some way shape or form! If you have questions, you know where to post them. Thanks again, Happy gaming! 🙂
As someone who grew up with Xbox, i could not stop focusing on the placements for the X, Y, B, and A buttons. That would mess me up so bad 😂 Great video! ❤
Hey there! Your review was great. I’m curious-have you encountered any issues since uploading that video? I noticed a comment on Discord mentioning that the NitroDeck + might still scratch the back of your Switch. Additionally, I read about some unfortunate souls whose Switch USB-C ports got fried due to the NitroDeck +. Any insights on that?
Thanks! Appreciate the watch! Sooo on this current one as it stands, no issues with the USB C port. The original one they sent me out of the box, wasn't able to take a charge but the current one has been okay. My switch USB port hasn't been damaged (thankfully lol). I frequently take it out of the nitro deck and then back on to the OEM switch dock for TV. I have used the deck's dock mode a few times when I'm traveling, and beyond it sometimes being a little finicky with its power draw, no harm has come to my switch. Haven't seen any charging or related issues to damage since my time of use. I use it pretty frequently too, so at least for me it's been okay. Does suck to hear about those unfortunate souls though. Cosmetically, there are a few hairline scratches on the back of my switch that you could assume are from the Deck. I feel like I'm really, really looking for them though as I break out a studio lamp for accurate information lol. If anything happens to my beloved Switch due to a product I reviewed, this comment section will be the first to know. I hope this helps!
I currently have the switch OLED with the stock joycons. Would you recommend getting the nitro deck + as an upgrade? Because i have heard about the comfortability issues, and it's putting me off from buying one.
Honestly, if I were you, I'd wait till the Nitro Deck+ is available again on Amazon so you can have an easier time returning the item if you end up hating it. The deck has some really great features but, it also makes your switch much heavier and that can be jarring for some. On a personal note, I love using the Nitro Deck with my switch OLED, I like customization and back buttons so having to move my wrist when using xyab isn't a terrible trade off. However, if you were to ask my wife, she absolutely hates it. Mostly because of how heavy it is, not so much the button placement. There are other options too! I picked up the Nexigo Gripcon gen 2 last year. That one doesn't have a dock or app but has much better ergonomics. Here was my review: ua-cam.com/video/NnX4uCTb03I/v-deo.html Also, thanks for watching this! I really appreciate ya! I wish you luck on your handheld journey.
I got my plus a couple days ago and man can it get uncomfortable. I still recommend it though simply for first person games on the go. Like Skyrim and Bioshock are now playable.
Yeah it's unfortunate they really didn't make the layout on point. I have hope though for future controllers. They made a decent amount of changes from the feedback so, the next time ... Well hope they get it right. For what it's worth, I enjoy mine too! Thanks for watching too, and taking the time to comment. I appreciate ya!
Totally understandable. I'd be surprised if Crkd changes anything for the rest of the switch gen but, when it comes to future controllers, I really want them to get that right.
I love this comment! It's so true. Ultimately, it's not perfect. Depending on what you want out of a controller like this you're either gonna love it or hate it. Best advice I can give is find a seller that has a decent return policy and try it for yourself. Some of us are gonna love it. Some of us, like my wife, are gonna hate it. And check out the competition for this style of controller. This video shows some of the few. ua-cam.com/video/NnX4uCTb03I/v-deo.htmlsi=JrpIzjCLMTpblrZi Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment!
I subscribe to the Nintendo Online stuff so I can play the classics. The collection has been growing slowly. Don't love the sub price but it's always nice to play these games so easily.

Just ordered my first Nitro Deck+. Black Friday sale is on...$20 off and free shipping. Can't wait to get mine (bought the Black Clear).
The black clear is pretty good looking! 👌 My personal choice this time around. Let us know what ya think!

What about the shipping?
Anyone having issues to connect the deck with the app?

The face button placement is a big dealbreaker.
Totally understandable. I'd be surprised if Crkd changes anything for the rest of the switch gen but, when it comes to future controllers, I really want them to get that right.
@@JustinAfterDark would be funny if they release the nitro deck triple plus next month but its just a straight up steam deck layout
I feel like I have enough trouble in my videos saying the name. Lol don't put something even longer on me.
I wonder who is right, this device is very polarizing. In some places they praise it, in others they shit on it.
