It’s amazing what people do to make RV’s their home. Thanks for taking us on a tour. Full-time RVers are some of the nicest people.
While I love channels like Matt's RV Reviews and some of the others that do tours, THIS was the most informative tour video I have ever seen because we saw real-life living situations and how people adapted. You guys could seriously do a separate channel with vids like this. And I really wish that the RV industry paid attention to the modifications people are doing. It wouldn't take much to make them more livable and functional.
This was a great event and we enjoyed sharing our Alliance Valor 42v13 with Team Journey. Everyone does a great job of making these “tenements on wheels” their home. Merry Christmas all!!
What do you tow that with?
The last one with the white painted cabinets is my favorite. I like the couch & table to the side.
Nathan looks like your going to be busy putting in a tub in your RV for Marissa and the kiddos. Loved looking at what other RVers do to make there rigs homey.

I absolutely loved the 5th wheel hybrid that was one level with the mid bunk space! What an awesome way to give SOOOOO much storage yet still feel very residential. Now if only they would be able to place a residential stove in any of the units, now THAT would surely be a truly innovative idea. None of the RV ovens I've ever used worked very well unless you put a pizza stone in to help even out the heat. I've lived in 8 different RV's and only figured out the pizza stone after my Mom gave me one for Christmas. Y'all I really enjoyed all the tours. I do watch FOS every week and love watching how Hensley just adores the girls! Happy trails and safe travels to you!

This is fun to watch, seeing all the possibilities-Wow. Funny you should mention the map confusion- we are a military family, always had a U.S. map on the wall of our quarters where ever we lived in the world. When our daughter was a junior in high school she was convinced Alaska was an island. That sparked an interesting conversation! We still laugh about it.🤣
So much fun. Love watching you guys. I get so excited on Sunday to see new videos. I think I watch it on Facebook first and then go back and rewatch it on UA-cam as well. So always watching and all platforms. I always see something I missed the first time I watch the video.

We love fulltime in a 2021 Columbus River Ranch it is a game changer, we have owned several fifth wheels but this is the best one ever by far.

I drove (retired now) tankers, semi's, & school buses, prevost& shuttle buses for 15+ years.
1)You couldnt pay me to touch a 5th wheel.
2) if your partner, wife, husband, spouse is not sharing driving duties, skip the 5th wheel. (Even any RV, they should be sharing set-up, driving, take down duties. Everyone should know each others jobs)
3) if your not staying in one place for 2 weeks+ or more,
At a Time. Dont bother with the 5th wheel.
You can still get a tub & washer/dryer in a Class A.
Class A & tow a smaller vehicle (hopefully on a tow trailer* dont waste the tires on your extra vehicle, put that on a off the ground trailer, cheaper tires.
Our motorhome came with full tub and heavy glass doors which we removed and replaced with a "swing away" curtain rod and RV motif curtains. Not only does it give us about 5-6" of additional elbow room when showering, but it saves about 75 lbs. too. Plus, when they fold inside the tub, they are ideal for hanging wet clothing and towels to dry and make the small bathroom feel much more spacious too. No more claustrophobic feeling when sitting on the toilet with the door closed.
Such a great idea. Huge thanks to all as we consider what will fit us best.

Basically, you need to find what works for you. We have had everything from tent trailer to now our second class A. With just the two of us, the Class A diesel pusher and Wrangler toad works best. If we could not do the class A, then I would definitely get a 5th wheel, but would not go beyond 31 to 33 feet. But, whatever floats your boat.

Class A flat towing over 5er dully every time, thought your Cayon star towing Subaru was your best rig. But you didn’t go next level , Dutch Star flat towing full size truck/shed.

Wow, full storage front to tail, class A has been doing that since the best of Fleetwood, just had to bust some chops, what Class A has been doing in sub basement for years.
Full time since 2018.
22.5 tires with 15 inch disc brakes, 5er can not do………. Good luck with the drum brakes.

You started talking about, Alaska being an island, and all I could think was, my mom! 😂 We were planning on taking a cruise to Hawaii and my mother wanted to drive to Florida because, she thought Hawaii was below Florida! It’s not Alaska but, it’s the same concept! This instantly made me giggle!
Nathan's mom is so sweet. His dad too. Funny story, we were getting a golf cart at the same time as his parents, and enjoyed chatting with them while waiting. So at dinner they sat with us so we could keep on fellowshipping. A few days later we were chatting with David Christian, and he thought I was Nathan's brother. 😂

everything after River Ranch is kind of a blur. that thing is my absolute favorite. it's like living on the second floor. and having the a/c underneath makes everything so much quieter!

Microwave was destroyed in remodel, Weber Q grill outside, & 2 burner propane pizo ignition 30,000 btu gas stove replaced lame $113 stock gas stove. With accenting Air Master vent hood @ 3000 CUFT per minute exhaust fan. That also acts like a 4th fantastic fan when it is raining and the other 3 roof fans have to shut down.
Absolutely full time time parity with stix & bricks, with all the same appliances but only half the rent. In 300 sq ft.

Thank you for sharing....oh my goodness I will live vicariously through all these RV'ers...this is a dream of mine...that will probably will never happen as my hubby is not a fan of camping! He is a home body in freezing Iowa...hahaha soooo I am a camp host at a local campground {25 miles away} so I get to camp full time for 5 months of the year and he just visits the campground!!! HAHA It works for us...but to travel and camp is a dream of mine...thanks for sharing!! Absolutely love video's like that!!

Thank you for showing us all the different ideas and changes people have done to their RV's, my wife got really excited seeing some of these! We haven't bought our RV yet but your channel and one other channel has helped us narrow down the direction that we are looking. Now our big question is, toy hauler or bunk room 5th wheel. We still have right around a year before we are buying and then we are planning on going full time, so hopefully we will be able to meet with you guys someday and have a barbecue and a few drinks and kick our feet up with y'all!

I do apologies if I was rude before, But a class A has so much more room than the 5’er, and I just can’t stand the steps on a 5’er, I have 7 1/2 rise 13 inch tread steps on this Bounder 35E. (UA-cam won’t let post the link) Way more Basement space on the class A, then towing in 10K hitch a full size van (E450) that turns into out storage shead for snow bird travel.
The full time basics come down to equal sticks & bricks.
4.5 cuft LG washer dryer
Ceramic toilet
32 X 42 shower
Real couch, (no bed)
Full size Kitchen trash can
Full size laundry hamper
Samsung RF 18 fridge.
Dyson V12 vacuum in closet charging.
3 fantastic fans.
Full complement of Brevil
; Coffee maker
;Air fry oven
;Long roll toaster
Just a box of appliances, with just ten tires, 6 22.5, 4 16 Michelins on van with active brakes & drive shaft disconnect.
Everyone has different reasons for liking different rigs.

One last thought, I don’t get why a family has to be confined to the truck while traveling,,, (towing a 5 er) when in a Class A the family can enjoy all the resources of the Class A while towing the full size truck 4 down….. The full size truck also acts like an anchor in braking, pulling the Class A down in stopping power, that can’t be said of the drum brakes on a 5’er.

Until the 5er can pull it’s own braking weight 20% more than the truck, and tug the truck down in braking from the rear. I’m not impressed. Class A’s still rule safety in braking no matter the truck, towed 4 down, or 5er’ed towing.
Really ,, full timer here since 2018 and I don’t get this video . Nothing to learn here. Bounder 35 E. And I really respect this familly. 4.5CUFT LG washer dryer here. Get back to being more “less junk more jurney”. Yes I have learned repetilly that is is hard to not be a consumer.
