I love your family. I love it when JJ tells Marrisa that it's going to be OK Mom. I love your kids. Thanks for letting us go to Mexico with you. Have a safe trip.
Having lived in Ca for forty years, have been back and forth many many times….going in is MUCH easier than driving back out!!! THEY’RE NOT SO NICE ON THE FLIP FLOP!
Enjoy folks, I have friends who are travelling all over Mexico in their RV as we speak . We chat every day …they love it and have never felt safer and have been there for quite some time now . 😎🌴☀️
Bienvenido a Baja. Cherish that nervous feeling it means you’re LIVING! Enjoy your time here and look us up in you fun yourselves near Playa La Mision on your way back north.
It's a good idea to rub your eggs in some fresh water before using if you are not making eggs boiled in the shell. Remember to keep fresh water nearby to rinse your mouth and toothbrush. When you see trucks drive by with men in the bed of the truck wearing helmets and carrying big guns, that is a good thing. I am Canadian. When I enter the US or Mexico I am going to spend money which helps their economy. In Mexico 100 pesos equals 5 US dollars so just multiply by 5. 40 pesos is about is about $2 USD. BTW Mexicans go make donuts but they are not the same as in US and Canada, they are more bread like.
Reminds me when our family got transferred to Mexico City in 1959. Once we got into Mexico, travelling in the desert, we would come across these shacks in the middle of nowhere where the guards would search the car. They would take whatever they wanted, like toys, but would hold up new small appliances we were bringing back, and not take them, because they didn’t know what they were. They were essentially bribe points.
My parents have been heading down there in their RV for a couple of years now. This was a great way for me to understand why they like it so much. And to see a quick snippet of my sweet dad sitting in a chair, staring at the ocean as you guys pulled up in the neighboring site was a wonderful gift. I hope you guys are having a blast & can't wait to follow along!
The US has pretty unique requirements for eggs. In order to be sold in stores, they must be washed. Most countries don’t even allow that because it washes off the protective coating, thus exposing the porous texture to bacteria. There are farmers from Europe with UA-cam channels that show how they process their eggs. And basically, anything too dirty doesn’t get sold. Any egg mildly dirty gets scratched off with sandpaper. Eggs can last longer if they haven’t been washed, too. I have chickens and have eaten six month old unwashed eggs. If you keep them in the fridge, it’s mostly fine… sometimes you get a bad one and that smell haunts you for days. Which is why cooking shows tell you to always crack your eggs in a separate bowl and not directly over what you’re trying to make. The flock I have this year are particularly dirty girls. I actually washed my eggs while watching this video. Hens lay with the sun. So as the days get longer, they’ll lay more. The eggs I washed will get eaten before they go bad because I don’t have to ration them in springtime. Anyway, hope that explains why your eggs had feathers. 😂
Yeah, no matter how 1000% innocent I was, I always stressed over crossing the border, the Federales stops and all of the rest - and I have sailed down 3 times, up once & I literally have no idea how many vehicle crossings. It's just intimidating. I would think kids would help. And well-trained and cute puppies.
Wish I had known you were going to San Felipe, my cousin retired down there and owns Rancho Bugambillas RV park, vacation rentals. It has a beautiful pool , several casitas, campground and social clubhouse right on the water.. We love it there!!
I’ve been to Akumal, half moon bay,Rocky Point, Cabo San Lucas, and over the boarder in Algadones. Never a problem. I was afraid before I went the first time. 🥰💕🫶
We go to Mexico 2x a year and always take dollars. Mexico loves the US dollar. It was 17MX to 1 US in January 2023. Enjoy yourself guys, they love Americans! ❤
A family we know here in Lancaster just came back from Mexico. Ran into her at the grocery store and she seeems fine and dandy. I'll be praying you guys continue to have a fun, relaxing and safe time. Just watch your kids closely ❤️
I am so happy for you guys, if your gonna go to Mexico with your family, then as a caravan would be the best way to go! WOW you all are super brave babies and all? Im impressed! I am such a worry wart
“This looks fake.” Exactly what I was thinking as the words came from your mouth, Marissa. Wow! What incredibly beautiful scenery you don’t get to see everyday. Enjoy. 💕🙏☀️😘
LMAO about that 5th Wheel and even the Airstream. Big American rigs don't do well in Baja, you're really limited to where you can go. And the roads...lordy.
Yep, I went down a one-way road in the middle of Cabo San Lucas. I got about one block up the road when a bunch of police on foot started waving NO, NO, NO! and signaling for me to turn around. One of them literally walked out into the street to stop me! They were super nice about it and were laughing at me the whole time. Hehehe!
Looking forward to spending at least a month in Mexico! We’ll find a group to head down with, hopefully we can do some volunteering while resetting our US time limit during the winter.
I agree I clean house before I leave. If someone broke it, I would be embarrassed and afraid they would talk about it. Plus, I clean the house before the housekeeper comes
Hello there Guys nice to see you guys are having fun with your good friends nice to have friends to spend time together. Be very careful there in Mexico.. love seeing your beautiful Kids having fun... JJ and your daughter are getting big so sweet... enjoy your time together have fun stay safe out there on the roads 😊 Take care 🙂 thanks for taking us along with you everywhere you go we appreciate it 😊
Have a great trip. I had a friend live in Baja for a year. She loved it. She had to come back to help her father, otherwise she would have stayed there.
I used to feel like you until my home was broken into while on a vacay. It’s such a violating feeling what the burglars were thinking about my cleaning habits is the last thing that comes to mind.
Yay! Always fun to see the going over the border videos. Glad you arrived safely and hanging tight for the next one to see what happens! JJ is growing up so fast! So cute with hat on backwards!
So glad it turned out that your friend found his missing spare tire. Glad you got to go through to Mexico after finding out about the passport. Glad you are staying at a place in Baja! Funny seeing the fur in the egg. It looks beautiful there! Hope you had a great time! See you all soon! Safe travels!
Y'all come recommend highly by KYD! Have subscribed! We are Wild@Art, and we start traveling full time summer 23. We are excited to meet new people and making new friends. Y'all need to Rockhound! This is my first time viewing you all so IDK if y'all do. Anyway! Travel on and by God ROCK N ROLL!
Starting from your first video! Next time you want to head to Baja hit me up! I live in that border town in the US! I can help you in any which way, with locations and spots - even in Mexicali MX 😉 thanks for sharing !!
AT&T mobility doesn’t work in Mexico, but few know that AT&T bought Mexican Mobility, they call it AT&T Mexico now. You can get plans with no borders, so it can be used in Canada and Mexico.
Thank you so much for this playlist on RVing in Baja! We are preparing for our first baja RV trip with friends this January! I am super nervous but your videos are helping give me a realistic view of this journey...and that maybe i don't need to worry so much. Just wanted to say thank you for your effort and time to share this information!
You are not alone about cleaning your house before leaving on vacation!! If we die in a car crash I don’t want people thinking I’m a slob! 😅 The Baja beach looks amazing! Be safe & enjoy! ❤🙏🏼
We are looking at buying a travel trailer in the next month or so. We keep reading that MOST campgrounds have limits on the length of RV/Trailers/etc between 27-35 ft from bumper to hitch... however, most of the newer model travel trailers we are looking at are longer than 35 feet. Has this been a problem for anyone? Or can you tell me how we should navigate this? The trailer we want has a separate bunk room and it's roughly 36 feet and 4 inches
You sound like you missed a bunch of key things in prep. Passport, debit, eggs ...? We plan on crossing to Mexico and will use a passport card, it's cheaper, just can't use it for international flights. I want to camp in Cabo, is that setting the bar too high? Thanks for sharing your border crossing and travel deets.
Marissa, I not enough of a neatness person to worry about the state of my home if someone breaks in, but then I don't worry about anyone ever breaking in, either. My thing about my home is I can dirty it up thru-out the day, but it's gotta be clean (especially the kitchen) before I go to bed at night, so every morning I can wake up to a relatively neat/clean home. However, I am a single person living alone and don't make much mess thru the day, so only takes 10-15 minutes to clean the place up before I change into jammies and settle into bed.
Nice 🎉🎉🎉🎉 so beautiful yeah 👍👍👍👍👍 amazing guys vendiciones amigos God bless anything for you guys lesdeseo lomejor atoda tu family familia so happy happy wonderful 👍👍👍👍
Bad idea...you have no idea what you are in for. My better judgment would advise not to cross the border with a trailer. You will be a target for bandits. Good luck.
I don't know Marissa, you look pretty sketchy with that torn up Levi jacket on. I think that the eggs in Mexico may be unwashed and that's why there was a feather on it. The upside is the eggs will last longer, the down side is you should definitely wash them before you use them. It sounds like you guys are having a blast. Keep the good stuff coming and give the kids a hug for me.

Thank you! Will do!
I hope all of you were finally able to relax and enjoy your journey. What a beautiful location! Thanks for sharing so much great and important info.
Be safe down there with the little ones you're braver than me

That is fantastic.

I'm not Judging but I wouldn't feel good about taking my family to Mexico, be save 🙋♂️
Nice jacket, Nathan--you look better in colors than black!

getting into mexico is easy getting back into the states is the hard part
Baja looks awesome! Definitely something I’d like to do someday. That waterfront site is very cool!
Anytime we have gone on a trip besides getting my office at work ready I felt like the house needed to be in order, just in case......
Wish I had known you were going to San Felipe, my cousin retired down there and owns Rancho Bugambillas RV park, vacation rentals. It has a beautiful pool , several casitas, campground and social clubhouse right on the water.. We love it there!!
That is awesome. You never know where we might end up. 😀
I always clean before vacation so I can come home to a clean place . I clean hotel room before the maid arrives.

Just had to say, always love yalls videos but this one was just fun, thank you for giving me fun on an otherwise rough week. Yall have fun❤️
Thank you that is very kind.
We go to Mexico 2x a year and always take dollars. Mexico loves the US dollar. It was 17MX to 1 US in January 2023. Enjoy yourself guys, they love Americans! ❤
Wow, stressful beginning…but, the beach and sky in Mexico look like cotton candy ❤. Beautiful!!!
A family we know here in Lancaster just came back from Mexico. Ran into her at the grocery store and she seeems fine and dandy.
I'll be praying you guys continue to have a fun, relaxing and safe time. Just watch your kids closely ❤️
Thank you so much, we are having a great time. 😀
@@LessJunkMoreJourney I'm a tad bit jealous 😂❤️ can't wait for the next video so I can continue to live vicariously through you!
I hope the Federales check Marissa's throw pillows thoroughly. They seem suspicious.😹🤣
😂😂😂 Noooooo!
How do I not remember that FOS story? 😂 Looks like you’re having a blast so far!
Thank you for sharing your adventure. Blessings
I am so happy for you guys, if your gonna go to Mexico with your family, then as a caravan would be the best way to go!
WOW you all are super brave babies and all? Im impressed! I am such a worry wart
Gotta be a relief to be there with friends.....
Watch "We're the Millers" and "Due Date"...lol(not kiddie movies, language and content aka marijuana).
That sunset on the beach makes it worth all that stress! Can't wait to follow along on the rest of the journey!
“This looks fake.” Exactly what I was thinking as the words came from your mouth, Marissa. Wow! What incredibly beautiful scenery you don’t get to see everyday. Enjoy. 💕🙏☀️😘
Thank you so much!
LMAO about that 5th Wheel and even the Airstream. Big American rigs don't do well in Baja, you're really limited to where you can go. And the roads...lordy.
I guess only American citizens have to deal with passports at the Mexican border. LOL.
Hay, It's February 20 and we're in Cabo. Where are you guys now? Love to run into you.
You just might 😀
Yep, I went down a one-way road in the middle of Cabo San Lucas. I got about one block up the road when a bunch of police on foot started waving NO, NO, NO! and signaling for me to turn around. I've never seen a person so anxious about crossing a border that Marissa, Baja California is Geared up for tourism as is Cancun, safe travels 🇬🇧🇬🇧
"I don't know what donut is in mexican " 🤣 you mean in spanish🤣 back home we call it pan dulce... love yalls videos keep them coming
Im feeling the less junk. Im moving and purging but its hard . Glad your all having fun.
Looking forward to spending at least a month in Mexico! We’ll find a group to head down with, hopefully we can do some volunteering while resetting our US time limit during the winter.
Love you family and travels
Happy Birthday Marissa ! What a better place to spend it.

You should!

With the cartels what they are, I have no desire to go to Mexico. Ever.
Love the new RV
Can I get more information on Kevin and Alycia van build?
The little you showed looked impressive.
Sorry, we didn't get to do a tour of their van build.
Baja is amazing don’t listen to the negative comments ,enjoy 😄🌴🌵
It is so beautiful 😂😂😂
You are not alone about cleaning your house before leaving on vacation!! If we die in a car crash I don’t want people thinking I’m a slob! 😅

😂
My favorite part was "this looks fake" and it did
I think you've recently watched Breaking Bad Movie.
???
You guys make everything seem like a super pain in the butt. Everything you do is stressful grow up act like you know what you need to do.
Thank you for the tips.
I LOVE this for you guys!! I love Mexico!!
BIENVENIDO A BAJA 🇲🇽👍👋👋👋
Marissa, don’t be embarrassed. My mom used to clean the house before the maid came!
I don’t blame her. I totally get that.
I agree Marissa that going through the Mexico border is so stressful lol.. so happy you all are in Mexico safely! That sunset was gorgeous!
So many beautiful sunsets!
Best quote of the week, "We're not 'No Junk' we're Less Junk."
😂
Again u guys just keep us laughing 😂. Some beautiful pic!
Thanks again!

So can you travel in Baja with a larger rig ... Yes. You will just have to plan better when it comes to narrow roads and smaller campgrounds.
Love you guys wish I could go on the road with you all safe travels
@telegraa_LessJunkMoreJourney am not sure how to do that do you need my address
You sound like you missed a bunch of key things in prep. Passport, debit, eggs ...? My husband always wants to straighten up before we leave the RV… just in case we die while we’re out. Maybe it’s the firefighter in him. 🤷🏻♀️
If you look nervous that is a indicator that something isn't right.
It's a normal look for us 😀
So much fun watching your adventures.
Be safe ❤️
Thanks so much!
Where did you go in Tucson Az to get that passport? I can't even get an appt.
The passport center in Tucson.
I have seen that bus in someone elses video
even in my Class C I had height problems, 4 times.......1 in Cal., #2 in SC, #3 Virginia, #4 Tenn. I never wanted to loose my AC.
Victor's! They are great folks. Do they still have the little black dog?
Hope that you enjoyed San Felipe and that wonderful beach as much as we did
Thinking maybe you should change your name to “ Less Planning, More Adventure.” Wonderful Mexico experience, stay safe. ❤️U guys
You guys better be careful
Marissa, I not enough of a neatness person to worry about the state of my home if someone breaks in, but then I don't worry about anyone ever breaking in, either. Stay near tourist areas only, “protected “ zones, everywhere else is fair game. Or else you’ll be sharing sad stories.
Enjoy but be careful and save, dont drin the water, always bottle water....can wait forvtge next one.....
What is the Houston location please! On the passport. My family knows but won’t give me that information, all I get is well I know. 😢
Here is some more information for you. www.us-passport-service-guide.com/houston-passport-agency.html

See? Mexico isn't so scary, is it? You will encounter some crappy roads but you camped on the beach in N.C. sooo?
Bad idea...you have no idea what you are in for. My better judgment would advise not to cross the border with a trailer. You will be a target for bandits. Good luck.
I don't know Marissa, you look pretty sketchy with that torn up Levi jacket on. I think that the eggs in Mexico may be unwashed and that's why there was a feather on it. Wow. Action packed! So informative too.🤗just WoW!
So glad you’re with a group! Have fun!
