Ive always been afraid to use it - you give me courage - your fan Donna
donnashorts1 ... thank you so much Donna 🙏💚 for your thoughtful comment I do normally sand before adding gel stain, it’s a very forgiving product. Even if your applying gel stain on top of a piece that is painted just sand off any top seal (wax, varnish or lacquer) This piece I did sand all over but it not necessary to sand off everything just the protective layer. If you want to wipe back some of the gel stain for a lighter wood appearance then you may want to sand everything off. This way the wood grain also will show a little, I like the rich wood tones but again it all depends on the look you are wanting to achieve! If you ever have any other questions please feel free to contact me anytime 🤗🎨

Cassandra Smith ... I can’t thank you enough for your thoughtful comment Cassandra 🙏💚 The aged and grunge style at the end so always an option but I love it 🥰 It may not be for everyone but that’s okay 👌 I am so glad you like it and definitely try it 😊🎨 Yes that is exactly right!
