My father ran a state-owned computer and software company that failed because of the collapse of the Soviet Union (with his knowledge of computers) (between 1982 and 1991), but since his pharmaceutical company was successful (he ran the biggest pharmaceutical company in all of the CIS, and in the former Soviet Union, and he ran that state owned pharmaceutical company since 1973), my family ended up being really rich, and they ended up sending me to Cambridge MA at age 11 in 2012 for the 7th grade. My mother by the way, ran one of the biggest hospitals in Moscow. Hi, I'm a junior and im super similar to you. I'm a humanities/public policy and STEM split student. Many of my ec's in hs rn are in the vein of student leadership and government. I'm debating if I should apply to college as a STEM major when i don't have many showings in that field. Also, I have a lower GPA but a higher test score so im really stressed about if I can still get into a top school. How much weight do you think that would hold?
