I love how he just randomly picks place to eat. I used to think, "why didn't he pick a recommended restaurant or something?? I don't want him to experience undelightful dish as his first time and leave a permanent mark of that particular dish as undelightful forever??" But now i know it's part of his charm and what sets him apart from the other UA-camr. He's not trying to be a guide or something, he's just telling his experience from his own perspective. I'm not from Bandung but I'm from another part of the country where you can find those kind of food court in almost every mall. I'm glad that you asked them the prices,. Yeah they have to pay the mall rent and have to preserve good quality and clean food, and the rent not cheap. Comparing street food vendor which sometimes dont pay anything at all and sometimes dont care about the quality and sometimes dirty from open air.

Hello I'm from Indonesia. Well in many places like in food court inside the mall or for this case the place that you came in this video, the prices for the food usually higher than usual. So in my opinion your price for the soto bandung is totally makes sense. Except for your orange juice. i think it was lil bit expensive because usually the orange juice's price is just 10.000 rupiah.

it was not that expensive though, Becak using man's full power and so many traffic restrictions on the street for that kind vehicle.. and other reason is humanity by supporting them to survive living hard

thank you for coming to Indonesia dale , especially Bandung !!! hope you really enjoy here so much !!!
Welcome Mr. Dale, glad to watch you back to Indonesia. Nice vlog and nice way to socialize with local people, becak is a bit pricey for 1 KM but still not that much. Thanks for share this vlog with us!
harusnya lebih itung2 bantu tukang becak 😁
One thing about Indonesia compared to other 3rd world countries is that you will always feel safe as a foreigners . Next trips should be Malang and Surabaya, the top soccer cities.
44:00 he's just kidding Dale, he speaks Sundanese which if you understand what he means it's very funny, Sundanese people are very happy to make other people laugh
55:00 Becak is expensive transportation in Bandung, because it is usually used to carry a lot of groceries, usually the normal price is around 30-50idr depending on distance ,the owner said going to the Hilton is expensive because the road is a bit uphill
The becak cost more expensive than regular one, its basically cost 15k+-/kilometer, but you pay 40k which is very overpay.
it was not that expensive though, Becak using man's full power and so many traffic restrictions on the street for that kind vehicle.. and other reason is humanity by supporting them to survive living hard
hi dale Philips, I'm your new subscriber, first saw your vlog when you were in Indonesia. I like your vlog, letting other people know about every culture and country. I hope you can travel the world so that we know about many countries
im so amazed by your knowledge about every country you visit
Assalamualaikum...luar biasa banyak baju olah raga dan jajanan
BEST channel ever
Yeah
I wasn't talking about the ladies...i was talking about them..that was hilarious😂😂
OMG... Dale is in Bandung !!! What a day !!!
45k for soto bandung is indeed a 'bule' price, except in big malls. normally it cost less than 30k
28:20 yea man, i think they give u a bule price
20k-25k for that bowl soup and 13-15k for es jeruk
but not only for "bule" sometimes the local people too, bcs they know we need the food at that time, u can see at that place there was no full of people eating
Up
Yay found your videos again I tried looking at others but you make me feel like I'm there how cool! Thanks! 🎉🎉🎉
Dale ini bukannya pelit tapi sebagai seorang vloger dia ingin menjadi bagian dari orang lokal termasuk juga kalau belanja dan makan
ya
Hi Dale! Welcome to Bandung! I am happy that you visit my city, you should definitely visit the Asia Africa street and Braga street! It has good history in it and also you can see several dutch buildings since the colonial era. I've been watching your vlogs since the last time you visited Lake Toba and always love the rawness of your vlogs! Cheers!
Love to Indonesia from india 🇮🇳🤝🇮🇩
Love From Indonesia to India to
I never disappointed watching Dale's videos
Hi Dale, when you have lunch/dinner in foodcourt inside a mall or ITC like Pasar Baru (menu: Soto Bandung, Tempeh, Tofu with Steamed Rice and drinks like Es Jeruk) then that much of price you paid is ok. They count it plus with the tax. But maybe next time it will be better if you can see the menu along with the price in there. Anyway, Welcome to Bandung 👋, hope you have a good time there 😊.
40k for Soto is absolutely a bule price 😆
20k for orange juice is definetly a robberry loll
That not bule price that a mall price
Your videos always keep me going, keep doing what you do! Love your vids so much❤️
FINALY JERSEY PERSIB BANDUNG BRO 😅🔥🇮🇩💙

You have to try, watch Persib Bandung at the stadium 💙
Dale just kindly reminder , dont use the Persib jersey outside the West Java area.
Especially in Jakarta . Great rivalry between Persija ( Jakarta ) and Persib ( Bandung ).
I like your vlog. Pasar Baru is my favorite market wenn I visit Bandung. God bless you, Dale.
You got the Bule price Dale, Soto Bandung normally sell at 20-25K, and the orange juice only 5-10K
I'm amazed at your patience to explain the hotel location and bargaining the rickshaw's price. Even more amazed that the driver understand the assignment 🤣😅
Yass he's a rangers fan! I had my doubts with the green and white 😂 now my new fav UA-camr 👍

welcome to Indonesia.I think you are very fluent in pronouncing a few words in Indonesian, for example cendol, new market, you can even say in Indonesian when you want to buy something.
28:37 sound of adzan is really beautiful. Feel calm. 👍👍👍
Love persib bandung jempol number one good luck mr vloqnya
I always like the way you’re not being picky, Soto Bandung for the example. We probably wouldn't choose that place to have a meal because it isn’t authentic. but yeah that's why we never feel bored watching you, Dale! 🙌🙌
Yep. Cuisines from food court inside mall is overpriced. Rp 45k for a small portion of Bandung Soup.. is not reasonably priced.
