Surabaya is an underrated city. Unlike Jakarta though it lacks a relatively decent public transport system, which makes it a little tricky to get around! And trying to cross those busy roads! I almost got run over once. Looking forward to watching this video!

What I’ve noticed is Indian, Pakistani and Indonesians always help each other, one business owner will happily guide you to another if they sell what you want, doesn’t happen in many other cultures I think that’s why when they come to the uk etc the do really well as they work together and help each other massive lesson to be learned there !
i'm not surabayan, but i think surabaya is not a tourism attractions city like malang, my town jogja, or bali, it's like regular south east asian city..i've been there some times, and so surprised people there can handle foreigners..east javanese food is great and i believe everybody from around the world will enjoy..

While an engineer may be able to fire a torpedo if instructed, that job of firing or giving the command to fire would be a job for someone like a CTO which is a chief tactical officer, or the captain in charge of the ship, or something like that. Because engineers don't generally decide when to fire, because firing is an order- that's usually a job for someone higher up.

I myself have been living in Indonesia for the past 24 years and have explored alot but some cities like surabaya are still on the bucket list, so its great to see for videos as a guide and how well you have picked up our language.
Haha! hi Dave, "kepala" is "head" and "kapal" actually the correct translation is "ship" but sometimes we called as "boat" for "perahu" (little ship). So, "awas kepala" means " Watch out your head ! The submarines was made & gifted from Russia when Indonesia clash to Holland for Papua in 60's.

Haha! hi Dave, "kepala" is "head" and "kapal" actually the correct translation is "ship" but sometimes we called as "boat" for "perahu" (little ship). So, "awas kepala" means " Watch out your head ! The submarines was made & gifted from Russia when Indonesia clash to Holland for Papua in 60's.

You guys should check Syifa Andriana, she's female solo travel vlogger who travel to non mainstream place in some countries. One thing that I like about genuine travel vlogger like Dale, he didn't use half naked woman as clickbait thumbnail to attract viewers.
