@pimpdoggydogg8670 that's actually not what I've meant. My comment ment that reading "I'm wearing you down" is pretty much exclusively to reading it in Steve's voice
I no that's right. Maxine has no room to talk shit about Steve. She dated Waldo and that dude was as clueless and dumber than a sack of rocks. He was a sweet caring sensitive soul who had a god given gift for cooking and baking. But most of the time he was clueless and not the sharpest knife in the drawer. So Y is Maxine talking trash about Steve.
There was supposed to be a scene where Laura reminds her that she used to date Waldo. Maxine would admit that she's not laughing to make fun of Laura, but out of irony because it took her 14 years for her to finally admit she had feelings for Urkel.
@@marcustrice3246 that’s true, Maxine did not have room to talk. Also I thought as Laura’s best friend, when Laura revealed such personal feelings to her, she should have been a better listener, not made Laura feel like she was “crazy “ for feeling the way she did.
There was supposed to be a scene where Laura reminds Maxine about dating Waldo at one point. She would've admitted that she wasn't laughing at Laura to make fun of her. It was more out of irony because it took her 14 years to admit she loved Steve, which even Maxine, Greta and Myra are aware of.
Deep down Laura always had feelings for Steve but didn't like his persona as a nerd. Which is why she fell so hard for him whenever he turned into Stefan because that's who she wanted Steve to be on a superficial level at first.
Laura fell for Stefan immediately. But then she didn’t like his narcissistic ways. Which means, she didn’t like that about Steve either. It wasn’t just Steve’s clumsiness and nerdy, annoying ways that turned her off. Stefan couldn’t improve until Steve improved. Steve became more respectful of the feelings of those around him.
@@daw91210 Steve’s failure to respect personal boundaries was a big turn-off for Laura. That was a lesson that Steve had to learn, and he did as he matured.
@@nancyhey1012 Personally, I don't think it was the personal boundaries that turned off Laura, as Steve was always willing to give Laura the space she needed. I think it was more of the fact that he was so different (nerds are considered 'weak', 'losers', 'ugly' and 'unattractive' by most women, despite their good personalities and gentle hearts), that made her constantly reject his affections. Laura actually dated boys, who were attractive, handsome and sexy. This is why Steve created Stefan, as he knew deep down that Laura would never date Steve, at least not as his nerdy self. Steve simply needed to accept himself as a nerd, while Laura needed to learn that you can't judge the book by its cover. Despite being weird, annoying and clumsy at times, Steve has proven time and time again that he had a big and gentle heart and was willing to cross oceans for Laura, such as going to the dump for 16 hours to find her favorite doll. And while Laura was annoyed by Steve from time to time, she also didn't want him to get hurt and even helped him on more than one occasion, indicating that Laura cared more about Steve than she would like to admit. That is, until this particular scene with Max 😄😄😄
@@ladyfire44Harriete Pointed It Out Also In The Episode Where Laura Went Bowling With Steve She Told Carl That Laura Does Like Steve Alot More Than She Use Too
Both Steve and Laura's individual journey's throughout the show are wonderful - they both had to grow into the people they NEEDED each other to be, versus what they wanted. Because they were two very incompatible people when the show started and as their friendship grew and changed - it very slowly opened up the door to allow true love in. Some love is instant, and some love is very very gradual. Steve's and Laura's love for each other changed over the years in very many different ways, but it was always there.
I believe Steve's personality is written largely from the psychology that intellectuals often seem to share. Because their intelligence sometimes makes it difficult to relate to other "normal" people, many geniuses and people of high intelligence often have very poor social skills. They often have trouble developing the interpersonal skills required to interact properly with other human beings. Like Steve, they may often have trouble understanding that they are invading personal space or other negative actions that most people understand they should not take. Steve's character is the extreme end of this spectrum. He is often mistreated by strangers, such as classmates due to his irritating personality. He is considered an outcast and undesirable, and this is further compounded by the strained relationship with his family. His father and mother don't like him, and have made it clear they don't. Steve is a very caring person, however, he just doesn't understand how to express this without annoying the people he cares for. Steve is probably tortured internally because of this, and due to his weak social skills, does whatever he can to develop a relationship with others to find the love he doesn't get at home, even if he doesn't understand that the methods he takes to develop these relationships often irritates and drives those people mad. I am not sure if the creators thought that deeply into his character, but due to everything about his history and personality, this seems to make sense.
@@HumorousLOL In Season 10, it would've revealed that Steve's parents treated him this way because they had parents who did the same thing to them as kids so they never learned how to be good parents. They reveal that they were also jealous of Carl and Harriet for raising their kids with love and care. They reveal the reason they moved to Russia is because they felt Steve chose The Winslows over them and that it was too late to ask for forgiveness. But with the help of Carl and Harriet, Steve and his parents reconcile.
@@MomentumMarketingTips💯 Grew up watching this and other shows similar to it but as i matured i started to see the bs in storyline’s such as this. I think Maxine found it ironic because it took Laura 14 years to admit that she was in love with Steve. This was picked up by Myra back at the end of Buds 'N Buns.
A lot of people didn't like when the show had Laura liking Steve and felt it wasn't natural but how many people ended up in relationships with someone they didn't like as kids. It takes time for you to look past the peer pressure of having to like someone that everyone felt was cool or acceptable. Remember when we're first introduced to Steve on the show Laura tells her father about the rumor of him eating mice. Laura was still a kid that was susceptible to the pressure of wanting to fit in and it took for her to mature to not care about people's perception of her being with someone like Steve. That's why her liking someone that would go to the end of the earth for her made sense at the end.
I getball that you said, but when you have someone like Myra who does appreciate everything you are against Laura who is down right nasty to him on many occasions since childhood
@@KonEl17, yeah I know what you mean. Laura was a bitch to Steve on many occasions. Steve had to check Laura on one of those occasions like when she missed her cheerleading event. They ended up in a hotel and she got bitchy with him again. Then he checked her on her attitude, and how he was a person with feelings. That he loved her but just because she didn’t feel the same way doesn’t give her consent to treat him like dirt. And he was right.
I am so fortunate to be born when there was good music on the radio and great family shows on television. Now I only hear noise sung on the radio and see reality television.
Steve and Myra had cute moments but Steve and Laura is a healthier relationship and had much deeper chemistry from the beginning. They were soulmates, even as kids, they just had to mature into the love aspect of their friendship and needed time to discover what real love is. Laura became much more open minded and willing to be a true partner instead of the spoiled shallow girlfriend, while Steve became less obnoxious and more willing to improve himself. Which is what adulthood is about. The journey is full of mistakes and regrets, but you learn from it all and make better choices going forward. Steve improving himself does NOT change who he is as a person. Myra throwing a fit about Steve making his own choices is a huge red flag tbh. She is controlling and psychotic compared to Laura who learned to be patient and nurturing towards Steve. And through this growing Laura and Steve did together, they naturally come together when they are both ready. Steve and Laura living together helped a lot. Seeing each other naked in the shower (accidentally) sped it up as well 😂 Stephan and Myra existed as placeholders to give them both other options while they were figuring things out. Laura’s “love” for Stephan was superficial and shallow but her love for Steve so often over the years proved to be pure and unconditional because of who he was as a person. She loved things **about** Stephan but she **loved** Steve, even if not romantically at first. Steve always had her back but could (and would) put her in her place if she deserved it. He’s a really strong minded person with strong morals and values. He was always emotionally available for her and helped her become a better person and she helped him become more mature in turn. Love is more than attraction, it’s also about moral and emotional compatibility. They had that compatibility since they were kids… the attraction came (for her) when they became adults. It’s a slow-burn romance but absolutely beautiful in my opinion. She was MUCH better for Steve than Myra and sweet loyal selfless Steve was perfect for Laura.
True, Steve and Laura had a certain history together, which he and Myra didn’t have, such as working together to get the Black History in the school, for which they got a nasty racist backlash. Myra was cute in many ways, but I agree her controlling ways were not exactly respectful to Steve.
Love is also letting go. All those times she rejected him that should have been a big hint for Steve to move on. Myra was perfect for Steve but some men can’t see the forest for the trees. Why chase a dream when your reality is right in front of you
@@angelacooper8973 You only ship Myra and Steve as a couple because they were both nerds but Myra and Steve shared no chemistry but Laura and Steve both shared chemistry throughout the entire series that Laura and Steve had history together since they were six years old Laura has always loved Steve she was just in denial Laura didn’t see Steve as her true love until she got older
@@bigmaryfan193 whatever you say to make you feel better. I always thought Laura was gay or asexual since she didn’t like any of the guys she dated and the writers stuck her with Steve cause they couldn’t write her and Stephan
The writers of the series was planning this all along. Watch season 3 episode 25. Laura asks Steve after reading his play, "Steve, you wrote the play. Why didn't you have Johnny(Steve) end up with Laura?" Steve says, "Well simple sweetheart, I'm saving that ending for real life." Over the years, Laura learns what true love is all about. When she was 13, she couldn't understand wat Steve could. Little by little, episode by episode, Laura grows up and finds out that physical attraction is the icing on the cake not the meaning of true love. By the time she's physically attracted to Steve it's because of the his character and not his physical traits. Her soul and spirit caught up with her body. For 8 seasons her body was ahead.
So true. A lot of people fell off the show before Season 9 when Laura finally realized all along she loved Steve, and they give Laura so much hate because she didn't always treat Steve the best. In the end, they ended up together when she realized what was in front of her all along. I've heard many times how girls can't even tell a guy likes them until he 'pursues' her enough and then it finally hits her. Well, it just took 9 Seasons for Laura to realize she loved Steve.
That was mostly Jaleel White and Kellie Williams's plan. Bickley and Warren wanted Steve and Myra together, which likely wouldn't had worked out and been anti-climatic because of it.
People just put Myra before Laura because she was lightskinned. Myra had a beautiful face but her body was shaped weird. Laura had the whole package face and body.@@shihoblade
The funny part is when Maxine ask Laura if she likes Steve and she told him I'm starting too and then the music starts playing at the end like it's the Steve Urkel song 😂😂
Ppl tend to forget she started liking Steve long before this episode she actually started feeling him Season 7 ish cause if yall remember she went to their high school prom with Steve, Steven created a twin and made one Stefan for her, Steve brought Stefan back for at the New Edition Concert for her, she had been warming up to him the last two seasons they had that auction were the women were betting on the guys Laura was the only one who bet on Steve and kissed him in front of her friends Lol like Steve would say I'm wearing you down baby he low key was wearing Laura down and when he became Stefan she saw a less clumsy, nerdy side to him plus Stefan allowed Steve to gain more confidence and improve him as well they did grow up together and were in their 20s around the final season so she didn't see him the same as she did on the early episodes.
I would argue she started to like Steve even earlier than that. There was a Christmas episode I remember, where Laura was upset at Steve for breaking her ornament. She kicked him out and felt horrible afterward, so she went over to find Steve alone. She asked him to come over and stay the night. She genuinely felt bad for hurting him over something so trivial. There were many moments like that throughout the show where Laura was starting to display different acts that proved she was starting to feel different towards him as the show progressed.
@HumorousLOL very true that one was a crazy episode and she was mad as hell at Steve for that one Lol she was passed annoyed she was pissed at him breaking her gift for her mom on that Xmas episode, there is also when Steve went on trail she represented him when she knew the whole school wanted him gone, the other episodes I can think of when Carl passed out and Steve saved his life the whole family loved him after that Laura hugged him, the other Xmas episode when Eddie got rid of the doll she had since she was a kid Steve went to the dump and the dog helped him find it and he came back with it she was very happy so your right throughout the show she had moments that she showed Steve genuine love!!
Laura has always loved Steve, she just didn’t want to admit it to herself. It just took her 15 years for her to finally feel comfortable enough to express her love for him. She always had undiscovered feelings for him.
The bitch say she only started getting attracted to him the moment he started improving himself this show taught me a valuable lesson value a woman who been with u through thick and thin ,discard the bitch that waited only for the opportunity
This is what these women do, they waste your time trying to get the best deal thinking they're value is higher than what it really is only to just go with you. This is the reality they think they're settling with you when that is what is the reality!
Laura was my childhood crush watching family matters on season 4-5 at the time, it's so cute how she's become attracted to Steve Urkel and how she feels about him. Brings me back memories, and I still watch it all the time on TVOne whenever it comes on.
I’m just now watching the ninth season I had never seen it I just got to these episodes I been waiting for this moment for 30 years lol even tho I know the outcome it’s still awesome to see
Fellas never "wear a woman down" because even if you get her, theres always a guy out there that she was 100% sexually attracted to from jump and you'll NEVER get to that level. NEVER. You'll just be the guy that grew on her/ the guy she settled for and its gonna show all through your relationship. Go for women that reciprocate the same feelings/ energy
That was the whole point of the Myra and Stefan characters. They were meant to give Laura and Urkel an ideal significant other to be with. In Steve's case, Myra was his ideal woman who is intelligent and loves him as himself. He could've left Laura for her if she hadn't shown her negative traits back in the end of Buds 'n' Buns. Urkel saw how jealous, possessive, overbearing, immature, insecure and a commitment control freak Myra truly is in wrongly accusing Laura of harboring feelings for him. This in turn puts him off her for good. During season 5, Urkel endured life as the Winslows in being stalked and having his privacy invaded. However, Myra took it a step further by forcibly having sex with him in his locker, demanding commitment from him and even spying on him by drawing him naked in his room. In turn, Steve learned a hard lesson in respecting people's personal space and realized how annoying he was to the Winslows. When he decided to commit to Myra in season 6's Paradise Bluff, she calmed down considerably and he was less attached to the Winslows because she kept him distracted from his family problems with his own parents. It gave both Urkel and Myra a chance to grow up. Same thing with Laura when she fell in love with Stefan in season 5's Dr. Urkel and Mr. Cool. He was handsome, suave and cool. Like Steve with Myra, Laura was put off by Stefan's negative traits. He was arrogant, narcissistic, insensitive, and uncaring to other's well beings. Case in point when Stefan show little concern over Carl's partner who was shot, Laura was so annoyed and demanded that he goes back to being Urkel at once. She points out that unlike him, Steve is caring, kind and compassionate to others. Realizing that he had hurt her, Stefan complied and ate a tablet to return as Urkel. When Laura claims that she never wants to see Stefan again, Steve reassures her that his alter-ego can be improved and began to renovate Stefan's personality more. By Stefan Returns, he has created a boss sauce that allows Stefan to remain cool, but also maintain Steve's caring traits and a transformation chamber to avoid dealing with side effects in having rashes all over his personal parts. Even after Stefan became a separate person from Steve's clone in the end of Send in the Clones, he maintained his newfound maturity. Myra slowly started going back to her original traits when she demanded Urkel to marry her after graduation from college. Steve refuses to give up his personal happiness for her sake and broke up with her briefly. Myra retaliates by tossing Carl's barbecue grill through the kitchen window. This was a precursor to how things will end in season 9. By the time it rolled around and both Laura and Urkel got together, there was no need to for Stefan and Myra anymore.
Myra was never Steve's ideal woman because Steve always knew Laura is the one since kindergarten. Steve had a condition for Myra which he would be leaving her. No, Steve knew since kindergarten Laura IS THE ONE.
The 9th and final season of Family Matters totally rules since Laura FINALLY LOVES Steve and finally got engaged to Steve sugg ch a heartfelt ending 😢😢❤❤

@@MrLewisb33 No, she didn't. It's just that I knew that I couldn't be with her like I longed for, so I just decided to take a few days for myself, and reevaluate my thoughts and feelings when it came to having any type of relationship with her. Whether it be just as friends or more than that. So, when I came to terms with the fact that a relationship wasn't going to happen, I started embracing just being her best friend, like we always have been. Acceptance of the good ol' friendzone. BUT, this was one of the very rare times that I didn't mind being in that space with her, cause I just really enjoyed her company in general. She was just a really cool person. So, when I decided to start talking to her again with a whole new mindset, she all of a sudden went extremely cold on me. Didn't answer my messages at all for like 3 days. When I finally got an answer back from her, she was just snapping off at me in a rage, and just tearing me down as a person, which was NOT like her at all. All I did was go on a "no contact" hiatus for a few days just so I can get the thoughts of us ever being more than best friends outta my head. When I offered to give her space for a few days to cool off, she automatically assumed that I was just trying to leave her life cause she didn't wanna be with me. Which wasn't the case at all. I would've been perfectly fine being best friends. I just didn't want her thinking that she would have to deal with the possibility of me wanting more out of our friendship than what she was already offering(which was a reoccurring theme throughout our whole friendship). So, we went back and forth, arguing for a little bit, until she started saying some really f**ked up things about me that were untrue, since she basically knew me, inside and out. So, as hard as it was for me to do, I cut ties with her for good. I still think about her all the time simply because, that friendship, and the memories that were entailed within that friendship, will always be as precious as gold to me. But-I knew at that point, she wasn't ever gonna be good for me in the longrun.

I don't think this the right take. She was too immature to understand what real love was. I think people forget that this journey started when they were in middle school. People judge Laura too harshly. I can't imagine many girls not feeling irritated by Steve's personality, but remember, she put up with him a lot. Even through all she went through, she was still his friend and would stand up for him many times. Myra was physically attracted to him and his intellect from the start. The history ran deep, and that finally culminated into her realization that her feelings were always there.
@@HumorousLOLYou have one of the best perspectives I’ve ever seen about Laura and Steve. Watching this show as an adult made me realize how deeper their relationship was. On the surface, Laura seemed like the wrong choice. But she and Steve had more substance once you saw Laura bring down her walls. I honestly don’t see Myra as the perfect match so many viewers do. Myra always treated Steve like some fetish IMO. She barely knew Steve before declaring her love for him. It was kinda off putting watching it back. The problem with Myra was that she wasn't an understanding person and most of the time, she was impatient with Steve. Often times, she let her jealousy get the better of her, was very possessive, overbearing and a commitment control freak. Myra was an even worse stalker than Steve and up to Myrtle's level. Just because you have common interests with that person, doesn't mean the relationship will work out. Myra was just too toxic for Steve to handle. Laura may not have had common interests with him, but they shared the same plans and goals. Plus, she did accept Steve for himself and knew him longer than Myra did.
This show ended when i was 4. So didn't grow up watching it but recently staarted watching clips on facebook. Steve persistence is legendary damn lol. 🤣🤣🤣.

I no that's right. Maxine has no room to talk shit about Steve. She dated Waldo and that dude was as clueless and dumber than a sack of rocks. Deep down Laura always had feelings for Steve but didn't like his persona as a nerd. Which is why she fell so hard for him whenever he turned into Stefan because that's who she wanted Steve to be on a superficial level at first.
Sad too because even Stefan is what Myra sees when he's still Steve.
I agree 100%
This was why Stefan and Myra were needed. They were meant to give Steve and Laura an ideal significant other to be with.

All of this is true.
I getball that you said, but when you have someone like Myra who does appreciate everything you are against Laura who is down right nasty to him on many occasions since childhood

The writers of the series was planning this all along. Watch season 3 episode 25. Laura asks Steve after reading his play, "Steve, you wrote the play. Why didn't you have Johnny(Steve) end up with Laura?" Steve says, "Well simple sweetheart, I'm saving that ending for real life."
Over the years, Laura learns what true love is all about.
Sounds like relationships to bad we don’t understand early enough to make changes
This is a perfect explanation 🥹

Love ❤️❤️❤️ finally in love with Steve Urkel

@@thesilvershining right on point try to tell people that all the time people was calling me a simp smh
100% agreed
She dated his clone, instead of pushing him to be like his clone, sh dated him. Right infront of Steve's face. His Clone.
ICONIC! ♥ Reminds me of so many great memories from my childhood
That whole show laura treated steve like garbage, Steve should have ended up with myra she loved and cared about steve.
Once Steve stopped obsessing over Laura and got on his own purpose along with self-improvement, she started acknowledging all the good and considering how she really felt.
I wish the last episode could have been their wedding that would have been great
They should've done the wedding as the series finale instead of the Lost in Space episode.
@@ladyfire44 I agree, the lost in space could have been the 2 episodes before it

So true. It's feel good entertainment though.

This changed everything.
Laura and Steve have know each other for a long time it was bound to happen
I wouldve never been with laura if I was Steve. She played him for yrs.
Laura's hair always looked fly. Love it here though especially.
these comments are weird. she never had feelings for steve until he changed. he should have moved on.
He tried to at least. Myra was a controlling stalker

@@josephclegg3562 but she didnt. She fell for Stephan not Steven Quincy Urkel. I mean she spent several seasons telling him to get lost. A person should only tell you once they’re not interested. Pining for a person who don’t want you is unhealthy.

To this date, CBS still owe us fans the dang wedding.
I agree!
Myra was the allegory that needed to happen in TV, where a guy (Steve) wants a girl (Laura) so bad and will do ANYTHING for her and she won't give him the time of day, until he glows up (Stefan Urquelle) or gets interest by another woman (Myra)
....that smile!
I had such a crush on Maxine back in the day😍
Maxine -- an underrated character of "Family Matters"
I was in love with Max
3J is raven with his winky off 🤣🤣💯💯🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
When Laura tells Max she’s attracted to Steve Max looks at the can and says (This explains it Can cause brain damage) like Max had room to talk She was with Waldo💯💀😂
It was more out of irony because it took Laura 14 years to admit she was in love with Steve.
There were always small moments where her care for him would peep through. After I rewatched the series as an adult. I realized that.
I remember I use to like Laura, Maxine and Myra. I couldn't choose which one I wanted
I was so Proud of her for her realization... In the end, Steve was the Luckiest of us all, he'll love her for as long as he lives... Great love story in this show... Boy Meets world too
I’ve always known that she’d have deep feelings about Steve Urkel
I liked Myra way better than Laura! Laura did Steve dirty so many times yet this man would ignore the love of Myra because of his infatuation with Laura!
I felt the exact opposite as you. Even though Laura put Steve through the paces to win her love I think all along she had feelings for him. Steve was the epitome of never give up and I found out years later that if I were this persistent I would have had my high school crush
@@MrLewisb33sounds like a simp moment.
Everyone needs to flood their gram and demanded they reboot the show with their kids This new generation needs to know family matters . Instead of him being clumsy him being a professor and she being a lawyer
this bring me to tears right now because there's not a single weird word that kids be using these days and i can read everything without them abbreviations and slang terms
It took 15 years for you finally Steve I been married Myra . I won't wait that for you
0:39 Pro tip: getting out of the friend zone as you can see; self improvement. Talk about it and actually do it. No respectable woman can put a man in the friend zone who is ambitious about self-improvement and showing real results.
I approve this.
C'mon Maxine, you dated Waldo Faldo Geraldo III. You can't talk. 💯
Hated both Max and Waldo
It's weird that people think Steve should be with Myra because they found her more attractive than Luara. Some people are really shallow. Looks have little to do with love and lust doesnt last. Myra was crazy and obsessed with Steve. She needed therapy. If Myra was ugly or not as attractive than Luara, I bet yall would be rooting for Steve to be with Luara.
Facts! 100%
I don't think it was that, I think most people didn't like how Laura was treating Steve at first. Because Myra lived Steve and treated him better at the time, most people wanted to root for Steve and Myra because they thought he deserved to be treated well.
That's just what I think though
@@ericamarshall2403 I think you're right. Laura mistreated Steve multiple times in the show. Like she time she broke down his car when he tried to get her to her cheerleading event after SHE missed the bus and then tried to force him to sleep on the bathtub at the hotel (he stood up to her though).
@@JawbreakerXD She stood up for him multiple times when nobody else did. That is one of the reasons he loved her. Myra did not do that. Laura was the only one who stood up for him when he was being made fun of. She was his friend. You have to be friends first if you want to have a strong relationship. He was attracted to Myra, but they were never friends.
Laura finer wit the long hair but I’ll take Myra and Maxine first any day

I always know it was gonna be good to be true and amazing that Steve and Laura were gonna end. I just wonder if they could’ve showed the episode when they got married after the Lost in space episode. Because everyone would’ve loved to see that.😁😎
Yep, they were supposed to be getting married in Season 10, but then the producers canceled the show out of the blue
Well what do ya know! I knew Laura was bound to admit it sooner or later😂
Yeah only took 8 years and 9 seasons but better late than never I suppose 😂
Her friend likes Waldo and she didn't think it was possible
Maxine was cute.
"this explains it.... can cause brain damage..."
Laura is the type who waits at the finish line for the winner. Myra is the type who will be with someone at the starting line.
She never truly developed love for Steve, and never experienced the same trials that Laura did with Steve.
Steve was the same way with Laura, but we at least saw him pull back and give Laura time to breathe in the later seasons. I wish the show let Myra do that.
Bingo
@@HumorousLOLI'm so sick of people putting their two cents in, writing comments like it's facts. She was always insulting him as if he was inferior to her. She made fun of him, didn't want him in the house. Etc. Etc. Yall just want dudes ur not interested in to keep trying for u so u have an option eventually even when u run out of options later in life.
@@geraldking9385 Bro are you serious lol They were young teenagers. You act as if they were supposed to have this developed maturity that adults do. A guy like Steve would annoy almost any girl he came into contact with. Also she never insulted him as if he were inferior. She was ANNOYED. She didn't want him to keep pursuing her. That doesn't mean she didn't care about him as a friend, but you can only take so much as a victim of constant harassment. Also, of course, would anyone want someone annoying in their house? EVERYONE in that family was annoyed with him. He constantly broke things in the house, invited himself over unannounced, and virtually stalked Laura. But you're being intellectually dishonest if you discount all the good things she ever did for him. She defended him when he was about to be expelled from school for the explosive incident. She stood up for him countless times in different situations. You can't be this dense.
This is classic example when a man improves himself a woman will notice
I always liked Laura but I had a crush on Maxine haha
hair looks great
I never could understand why Laura would cut her long real hair to wear a weave.
I said the same exact thing. Her hair was pretty thick and long during season 4 & 5.
Season 7 and 8 was when Laura experimented with a pixie cut that Maxine had cut for her. Remember, she was training to become a cosmetologist in beauty school. She kept that until the end of the episode Dumb Belle of the Ball. After this, Laura got a professional weave from Maxine.
It was probably in her contract!!
You know that was a weave right?
When someone is already you all the time and they are sweet no matter how they look you start to get attracted to them sometimes 😆
Nah fam.......she curved Steve for all those years until for some odd reason, she actually kissed him and said , "I like him". Myra was the one for him. She never required him to change who he was, never saw him as an embarrassment, knew what his interests were and made them apart of her life, and always showed deeply how much she felt about him. Can't really say that about the opposing choice
