I love that it has real-time physics but I would love there to be a version that functions like the Minutemen mortars and can be used by NPCs. I currently use a mod that adds the little red cannons from the USS Constitution and Fort Strong as turrets. But they aren't animated because they're all one piece. This reminds me how good those could be.
Looks like it should blow up like a bomb first time you fired it, but it matches the rest of the weapon designs in the game and I like the physics of it.
I'm still impressed by your determination to not use a "despawn all NPCs" mod, at least while recording. Also, if setting up mines causes the cannon to stay in place, a mine that doesn't detonate at all and just stays there ready to be picked up, should theoretically allow to fix the cannon in place through multiple shots. So excited for all the future possibilities and amazing stuff like always. Peak Fallout 4 content (yes, I'm 💯% scratching the Algorithm's back because I like your channel and had time for it)
Basically how I made cannons in gmod. Except instead of mines I used a thruster that was activated by damage from a wire turret or explosive. Thinking about it now, years later, those were less cannons and more reloadable rocket launchers that looked like cannons.
