This car has been set up to be super reliable and extremely easy to drive. Very good looking Leatherback that is ready to enjoy immediately. The man we purchased the car from recently finished up a major restoration.
The interior is immaculate with every item working properly including all of the gauges.
The body was lifted off and the frame completely blasted and refinished. The drive-line was rebuilt and the desirable Mitchell Overdrive was installed. The brakes and all ancillaries were either replaced or rebuilt. A stainless steel exhaust system was installed, new wheels and tires, brakes, suspension, an alternator conversion, etc.
The previous owner repainted the car years ago in classic Chicle Drab with black fenders. It has held up well and still looks quite nice.
At the time of this exhaustive mechanical restoration a brand new LeBaron Bonney interior was installed. All of the inside switches & knobs were either restored or replaced.
The car is a magnificent driving model A with no rattles, shakes or unpleasant behavior while driving. It starts easily and runs smoothly. A battery shut-off switch is located conveniently within reach under the drivers side of the hood.
A water gauge was added as well as a handy digital blinker system mounted to the left of the steering wheel on the dash to keep those modern crazy drives aware of you.

$14-16k is about average for one in good shape that's being driven. You might get a bit more for a garage queen but there's a million of them out there.
That's not a 28 body.

Actually it is, only the four door sedan used that cowl, the radiator is short on the 28-29
I will get one of these, fit an electric engine on it and ride around our earth plane one day.
