My first car was a 1935 Ford 4 door sedan like this. I bought it as a 14 year old in 1947. It was a god car. It had been in the same family until I bought it. It is still my favorite car. Not best, perhaps, but favorite. I was making $8.00 a week delivering milk for the local dairy and I paid $125.00 for it. The spare tire had the metal cover with lockable hubcap to deter theft. It had Ford option fog lights, Radio, banjo steering wheel and hot water heater. It was the deluxe model. The actual radio was about the size of an overnight suitcase and was mounted on the outside firewall under the hood. It drew so much voltage keeping the tubes hot that when my battery was low it would kill the engine to turn on the radio. Thanks for sharing this one - it started a real, pleasurable, memory trip.

amazing how far ford went from the model t to this. honestly this is what helped shape how future cars would look. Great classic car. Quality vehicle

I just bought a four door. The reason? I have a wife and 2 kids. I wouldn't want to have to choose who I took for a ride. Unique cars at this point in time. Just about everyone we pass by looks our way. People love to see it.

The Model T was produced until 1927. Just 8 years later - 1935 - illustrates how far Ford had come in just 8 years.

You will have a neat car when you get it done. I really like early Ford flathead's. I'm sure there are not many of these in Chile. Not many here in the US. Good luck. Jeri Drager

If I remember rightly, the water outlets were at the front of the cylinder heads & not in the center like this one. I think it's had a later model engine fitted.

I think that you're right! Probably as late as a 53 engine and it sounds like it's been gone through! An original probably won't run that good. I've found an original one and it's weak and smokes a lot!
