actually the playboy stickers make it look crass and gangsta. this is a regal old lady and they need to come off immediately. Unless you're looking to sell it too a rapper, God forbid!
You need to be addressing that tacky aftermarket under the dash air conditioning unit. Factory air in 58 had outlets integrated into the instrument panel and perhaps ceiling mounted in large limousines. Also if who ever purchases this car....have it outfitted with seat belts and shoulder harnesses if it will be used as a daily driver.
@@larryhawkins3294 Hi Larry. I have a 58 cadillac , parents bought it in 1960. It has factory AC, the vents are right under the front windshield, on top of the dash. Terrible location since you can barely feel the air , it has adjustable louvers that you can only adjust how much they are open, or you can completely close them when not in use. The air was very cold, and eventually would cool the interior down. It worked till the early 70s. it's all still in place though. The 59 caddy was the 1st to have vents like today that blow straight out of the dash. I'm still driving the old girl.
@@johnfranklin5277 the series 75 had the evaporator in the trunk and the air came out through vents in the headliner...the only '58 Cad to have this system. I have a '58 Sixty Special, and it has the vents under the windshield as you describe, but the limo's were different. this car in the vid did not have factory air...must have been a hot box back there on a sunny California day...tiny under-dash aftermarket a/c notwithstanding

Love it. To me something looks more beautiful then classic red, white or black classic Cadillacs. I'd love to own every style aka limo 4 door 2 door hearse ambulance and so on of every Cadillac. But my favourite is 1947 and 1959 body's.
How do we know it's a limousine if you refuse to show us the interior glass partition? Like most Series 75s that people claim to be limousines, this one isn't, I'm pretty sure. This is a 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 9-Passenger Sedan.
I agree! Very bad video by refusing to show the interior. A friend of mine had a 1956 Cadillac limousine that had two partition windows. One window was clear and the other was black for greater privacy.
1532 examples of the 1958 Cadillac limo were built. As for eighty survivors it sounds feasible but I have no idea. The background story of being a playboy club limo is a nice touch if true. The tailfin markings are attractive additions.

It has, like 1958. Its looks very very good all around especially for being over 60 years old! If it does need a new interior, that a lot cheaper than physical body and paint work. And mechanical repairs.

Wanna call a cop? People drive 75 80 every day. Cops go buy me when I'm doing 80 on the freeway and aren't interested in me. He only took it up to that speed for a short duration. Get over it lol.
