Mike, noticing all the patio posts/beams are a good 9" to 1' to 2' in from the edges? Any reason why they can't be lined up flush (post edge to insulated cover edge)?
Can you do a video on how electrical is done? I see the EMT along the house but what about wiring to post lights? Recessed lights? Is wiring run within the post and roof panels?
Hello Mike, The Steel C Beams that we put into the header for structural integrity comes from the patio factories. I’m not sure who they buy them from.. they come usually in 3 thicknesses (12, 14, and 16 gauge) hope that helps 😁👍🏼
Hello Alfred, There are so many variables that will determine that. Usually having the roof at about 20’ is a decent projection and you’d have the beam and post at 18’ approx. Again there’s so many things that would determine that, like wind speeds in that area, city, footings, no footings, thickness of ceiling, mid span beam, type of roof.
