Mike Patton I recently watched his JFK & Nixon films, & while the history in both is suspect & conjectural he nailed the Deep State well. Stone, like Greenwald & Assange (to a lesser extent Chomsky), is a liberal idealist who came under attack for not merely attacking white males in the GOP but actually advocating for a peaceful world w/'The Beast' of the military industrial complex & big business destroying us for the scraps of gay marriage & Black History Month as a distraction from their agenda.

20 million russians are beyond of poverty line with month income less than 160 dollars. 40 million russians have money only for food. 70 million russians have no money reserves for "black day". In corruption and Gini rankings Russia shares place with worst african countries. Only 19% of russians have ever been abroad.
Fortunate? Not really. I say that as russian and as a moscowite. Putin pays no attention on internal russian problems, but shows off on international scene.

А по поводу цифр - это опросы подконтрольного государству Левада-центра и данные Росстата. То есть реальное положение дел ещё хуже.
Vera, а вы не смотрите на Украину. Наша страна - Россия, зачем нас сравнивать со странами третьего мира и всякими бантустанами? Надо равняться на Финляндию, на Сингапур, на Норвегию. Где за лишние 10 евро из бюджета ты сядешь далеко и надолго. У нас самые большие ресурсы в мире, мы спокойно можем занимать 1 место в мире по уровню жизни. Why does Putin, who speaks fluent English, need to be translated from Russian?
because why should he have to talk to Americans in their language? He's a Russian president and they are in Russia. Why should he adapt to them? they can speak in Russian to him if they want :) Americans have this ridiculous view that they don't have to know other languages but everyone should speak theirs....

P. S.Translation on 0:20 is incorrect. Putin starts to talk: "That is not e..." then he stops, and finishes the frase: "...how it is". He wanted to say "exactly" but thinks, breaks and totally denies only pronounced first sound of "exactly".
Actually he didn't said "exactly". He said: "This is not how it is". You got 1 sound and turned it into whole word using magic? Be objective... if you want to pay attention to this sound make it right. "This is not e... (hint: exactly) how it is"
Андрей Чепкунов I kind of got the impression he said exactly, maybe because I was reading the subtitles too. Oh man, this is going to be hard to watch and understand the whole truth, what with the editing and with Putin's own careful wording.
One thing you have to understand: there are no mistakes in this video. The things shown us are carefully checked and filtered by many specialists. I am sure censor and marketers have done really big work. Every piece of the interview contains some unambiguous meaning and nothing is an accident
Oh, stop this. Big work. A team of specialists. You can't even deeply understand what's inside Putin's head, when he telling us "This is not how it is" at 0:20. Or you're consciously add a full word instedad of one sound in subtitles?
Sadly, America is disgustingly anti-Russian. We need more dialogue and less monologue. So grateful for this interview. I don't think Putin's not quite the villain the USA makes him out to be.
