One thing that wasn't mentioned is how Blizzard lied to everyone about when Arena Points would be converted into Honor... They said in a blue post that this would happen on patch day and instead it happened 2 week prior. So anyone who was sitting at or near honor cap AND had areana points saved up in anticipation for the conversion, essentially just had their arena pointed deleted....
the mount thing is actually pissing me off, i did specific achievements on alts to get 310 for free, which is now useless. I hate how theyre treating cataclysm, SoD is getting the main focus and its just a spit in the face of the huge playerbase ready for Cata.
We haven’t heard that they aren’t giving us free 310%. Just that it doesn’t work on ptr/beta right now. I’m assuming that if the character has the chieve then you’ll have the free 310%
For what it's worth druid flight form was reading as 410% on character stats while the buff was correctly displaying 310% without having to purchase speed increase. Something is just wacky with the beta/ptr settings..

Seems like EVERYONE is missing spells. My pally was missing Templar's Verdict. I specced properly, went to trainer, and even tried macroing it, it was just GONE! Guild chat is broken. No one can leave their party after finishing a dungeon. BGs are shut down. The XP buff is gone and I read that was supposed to be there until iike June. /4 chat is blowing up with people whining about problems. It's an absolute shit show.
I feel the same honestly. I'm sick of ICC and RS and I've farmed (within reason) everything I want to farm pre cataclysm. I just want to get the hell out of wotlk now lmao it was a fun ride but it needs to be done now

Hope it'll get fixed asap, preferably the way cata once was (with maybe some twists like they've done with wrath, but prefer not unless its QoL changes like nerfed honor grind in terms of prices) - Yes, if ur interested in pvping, grinding that honor in cata is actually painful since u get like 400 per (win/stomp) and one item is like 1500+, infact weapons are probably near 2k.

I find your sources a bit lacking. Particular point is DK, BDK Rune conversion has worked for me for the last ~3weeks. Unholy was functioning for me as of last Wednesday (went on vacay). Most of the bugs I’ve experienced have been fully fixed, but I don’t play most classes (only rogue/dk/druid).
You know what the really messed up thing about this is? They've completely lost sight of why private servers cropped up in the first place - because people wanted to play the original content as close to as it was as possible. The absolutely disastrous launch of Cata Classic that looks to be looming (as well as the refusal to make Wrath-era servers) could very well start giving rise to more private servers cropping up for the middle expansions of WoW from Cata - Legion. If this is how they're treating Cata, I'm dreading to see what they do to MoP.

I have a theory as why there rushing it out the gate. if they only give each expansion 8 months of run time they could run through all the expansions again and we would line up right with the end of the world soul saga and they would end up merging classic with retail. depending on how they rush MoP or not will probably confirm this.
what would be the point of merging classic and retail? it would defeat the point of playing classic lmao. Plus they did say retail would be releasing expansions faster. 3 expansions usually takes 6 years to release, they said recently in an interview I think with Bellular that it'll be shorter. most likely 4-5 years.

Sure, SoD did carry the momentum for a while, but they extended Wotlk so SoD can grow, then they ignored SoD and left it on life support and drained all the hype for the game. And now they are trying to bring up Cata, while having Wotlk be full on dead for months now due to such a late release. The stupidity and greed is so high that they are making EA look reasonable, legit drowning both game versions for the lols at this point.
For good reason tbh... played on many private servers, they're all free and they put out better content than Blizzard does. Resubbed purely for cata, if it ends up being a mess like previous releases I won't stick around for even a week.

Honestly Blizz propably is like "many people play the game as a single player experience in retail now and we do not want them to be forced to join guilds". These devs are completely out of touch I think. As many people will quit when WotLK ends, as many people will continue into Cata. Blizzard´s response? Uhh, Cata will only last half of the time all other expansion were. What the actual? They really think majority of people prefer retail or SoD over this...
Bliz is trying to funnel everyone at this point into retail. If u think about it from the beginning their whole idea from the relaunch was to get new subscribers. We have been in one long advertisement funnel. Will be curious to see what content is given to the new 2 million new subscribers out of China.
I think they want this "classic" journey to be over. I have doubts MoP will be a thing. The real future for them is in SoD (eventually a full Classic+) and Retail. I am excited to do Cata raids but that is about it. I don't have my hopes up for significant changes/bug fixes after launch. It is obvious they have a few interns running this atm.

@@conorf8091 in my opinion an expansion launch should be globally at the same time so that no-one gets some form of early access. Yes some folks would have a midnight release and others a afternoon one. But now there's a dumb 12 hour gap. It's just dumb.

More iteration: I believe a big happening like an expansion should be global, but smaller things like patches should be done on the more convenient timeslots per region. An xpac is just that much impact on the game, new stuff to do, areas to explore, levels to gain etc. More fun to be able to watch/talk with friends all over the world at the same time.
You completely missed the point on Druid flight form. It doesn’t require masters license *AND* it functions in dungeons. AFAIK, the only active SoD ‘dev’ is aggrend, no?
Karrot you need to understand that the bugs on beta/ptr clients are unlikely to carry over. Blizzard have the patch client ready for release where they'll implement the fixes into. There's always s chance a bug or two may get through. But I have a positive feeling alot of it has been addressed.
You're skeptical because you're not brand spanking new to Blizzard's games. Anyone who has played for a decent amount of time would be surprised if it didn't go live with some buggy crap that is 100% due to just not giving enough of a damn to give them a big enough team to really iron stuff out.
